Not really, I think it should be pretty obvious that biensala was trolling everyone. :-/
"Superman's heat vision ionization strip Surfer of his powerzzz lololol"
"Annihilation's not canon"
In The Art of Trolling, published on the web, it is suggested that in Usenet usage, a "troll" is not a grumpy monster that lives beneath a bridge accosting passers by, but rather a provocative posting to a news group intended to produce a large volume of frivolous responses. The content of a "troll" posting generally falls into several areas. It may consist of an apparently foolish contradiction or common knowledge, a deliberately offensive insult to the readers of the news group or a broad request for trivial follow-up postings.

I was talking about Biensala. Not you

Nope no assumption. I never said that only Firelord's heat would work on him, I said that he's been stated to be immune to heat and that Firelords blasts work against him because they come from Galactus because of what you said about sufficient heat breaking Surfer's board.Who cares about the rock, it was launched by Karnak during a period where Surfer was at a fraction of his full power. It's no more relevant to his current character than Supes's exploding gas station. Anyway, aren't you the one who said you'd buy anything Lee said about the character...
I was not even talking about the Karnak event, I was talking about the "meteorite"

Oh, I will, if you do too. So WE agree? SS<Thor

The scan comes from Annihilation #3 and yes its canon..No, it really does not contradict.. If you look at receptacle in the dictionary it means a container that receives and hold something which in this case is ambient energy.. Think of him as a rechargeable battery, not the body but his life force..
Right! The board is of similar material as the body and there durability is back up by the amount of pc however the presence/amount of pc contained within it is far less this is why it is not as durable..
Thanks.
What I see here and is a problem, is that if PC is like the "soul" then removal of PC will meant "killing" the character, yet Galactus has removed the power, doom has done it, that city in space has done it and none kill him.
I understand SS is like a battery and I undestand he is a receptacle for ambient energy, if the case is PC as his life force the Superman cannot ionize the molecules arround his body.
Yet all this time I have been under the impresion that it was his body and not his soul the one containing the PC. Because ALL other previous information indicates this is the case, but if this was retcon during the Annhilation series and now is canon then Ionization would not be possible.

Do you have a scan to back up such a claim?

Which meteorite are you refering to?Nope, that was never stated, his being immune to teperature extremes was... Besides, I've never acted like I consider Stan's opinion on Surfer as scripture because as far as I'm concerned he's simply one writer among many.
The issue of the meteorite is SS#14
I will not take that statement of Stan as complete truth. and I doubt SS is only vulnerable to herald energies because of Galactus.
I do care what Stan has to say on the matter but with certain limitations and He is THE WRITER, not a simple writer.
The scan that Ambient shown it contradicts a lot of facts and showings of the SS and it could even fall into the category of IGNORANCE on part of the writer. But I will leave that as a discussion for later.

Galactus is Galactus - nuff said...
And Doom tech only affected the energies within the biology - body - not the source - life force that feeds the biology - so what was absorb is basically cosmic energy within the Surfer body.. - Ref. Annihilation scan -
Similar with Dynamo city..
Glad you agree..
- checked the scan..
Doom tech. = Awesomeness..
Cosmic glaze without PC not so durable..
Doom tech does not fully rid Surfer of PC..

So you're basically saying that you value Stan's opinion more than any other writer(because he's Surfer's creator, correct?), but you're still going to ignore what Stan had to say about Surfer's immunity to heat? Sounds kinda like you're trying to have your cake and eat it to...
