The gems need to be powered by the Power Gem to do what they are capable of doing...

Thors hammer is powered by Odins magic...who is a Skyfather and is more powerful than Thanos (since power level matters so much to you)...so yeah, I fully believe Mjolnir sucks the soul right out of Thanos's body (Thor appeared to have to use some of his personal power as well when he killed Loki like this)...

You haven't owned ANYBODY. Get something threw your head, and this destroys your argument. Adam Warlock WITH the soul gem who has a soul suck that is his schtick(a lot more so than Thor) and hasn't failed DIDN'T want to try on Thanos because he feared going that route with Thanos. He feared thanos soul and what he might see or find. So you have someone SUPERIOR to Thor In Re: Soul Suck not even wanting to try it because he feared what he would see and doubted it would work. Yet you think Thor's will work LOL

Fearing what he might find of see doesnt equate to Soul Suck not working on Thanos; I am certain Thor wouldnt give a dam what he saw of Thanos's soul if he wanted him dead...

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit is it. He not ONLY feared what he would see but didn't believe it would work. This is Warlock WITH the Soul gem which makes his soul suck exponentially more superior to the rarely ever seen Soul Suck by Thor. Thanks for trying and playing but you have nothing and were owned. Dont forget that Warlock with the Soul Gem failed to KO Thor with its Karmic Blast; Soul Gem isnt as badazz as you might think without the backing of the Power Gem...

You are an idiot. Warlock's soul suck is EXPONENTIALLY more powerful than Thor's. To say nothing of the fact that this is Warlock schtick and move he's used many times before without fail. He didn't even both trying it on Thanos because he didnt think it would work. Yet you think thor's inferior less used soul suck would work.... LOL.
