STAR WARS: RETROSPECTON- Song of Remembrance

Can he use obfuscate to confuse them into thinking he's shown them the correct ID when he produces his normal one?

Obfuscate does not work that way; that is more of a 'keep the Jedi from sensing me' deal. What you would need is the power of Illusion, which Takuan has... but he's a little preoccupied with being paralyzed.

"You want to see my ID?" He really turns on the menacing demeanor "Ok then!" He gets his ident card out and holding it in his left hand marches up to them. As soon as he is in striking range he lashes out with his left hand, a palm heel strike in to the guards chin. Then as the one on the right is starting to react he uses GS to draw his pistol and shoots him point blank range in the face.

They are unprepared for that and you take them down quickly. The way into the docking bay is clear!

You move into the bay and Tarinda drags Takuan in after you. The ship inside is a sleek tubular ship. A young man in a black get-up is fiddling with the landing gear when you come in.

"What happened to him?" he asks, gesturing angrily at Takuan.

"We ran into some huge hard ass pig things trying to get, and I'm assuming there's more on the way, so it may be a good idea to be air born asap!" He smiles and looks at the new guy "Oh I'm Alek and this is Tarinda, I assume you're expecting us?"

He then helps Tarinda drag the mostly inert Takuan on to the ship.

You drag yourselves aboard! The boy quickly closes up the hatch behind you and takes Takuan off to the small medical bay before coming back.

"You're the one we're here to grab," the boy says to you. "Alek, you said? Who the hell is she?"

"This is Tarinda, she's with me" He holds his arm wide in an introductory manner, "Besides, she can hold her own and without her help we wouldn't have gotten away at all!" He smiles pleasantly as he looks for somewhere to sit. "Do you need me to do anything while you fly this baby?"

"She has no place with us," the boy sneers.

Alek squares up to him and uses intimidate "She's earned her passage off world, if you don't like it we can all stay here and play with the authorities!"

"You're trying to threaten me," the boy says. "I'm not some child that you can boss around!"

You do notice a big pair o' pistols holstered on his belt, Alek, and two more of those cylindrical hilts next to those. It is these that he goes for in a hurry, igniting a pair of scarlet blades. He strikes an offensive stance but does not budge.

Alek relaxes and laughs "look we can play this silly game for as long as you want..." He indicates the bay where Takuan is "...but your boss there would be dead if it weren't for Tarinda here, so she has at least earned passage to the next starport where she can then find her own way on." He shrugs "Or we can stand here and play a game of who's harder than who" He doesn't back down though.

The boy's hesitation has given him away. He utters a growl of disgust before putting the lightsabers away.

"We need to leave," the boy says, putting his back to you and moving for the cockpit of the ship. "Those guards you murdered won't go unnoticed for long."

Alek nods in response "Need me to do anything?" If not he straps himself in ready for lift off.

"Yeah," the boy says. "Stay out of my way and don't touch anything."

Alek straps in and as they lift off says to Tarinda "Hey, I don't know if you caught any of that but boy wonder on the con over there isn't so keen on your company." He shrugs "Next planet stop it maybe wiser if you were to split cuz things is getting somewhat complicated with me!"

Tarinda looks sad about that.

"I don't understand," she asks. "Why is everyone after you?"

She is also curious why Takuan made such a big deal about bringing YOUR suitcase when she left all of HER stuff behind.

Alek sighs "I really don't know. I do know that I was involved in some kind of accident that left me with a past that I don't remember, so mayhap that is what this is all about." He grins and puts on a scary voice "My past come back to haunt me..."

He then looks over at the case "Hmm, I wonder what is in my case that is so important?" He retrieves it and putting it down between them, opens it cautiously.

You open it. Whatever you had with you is all tossed around from your suitcase being banged about during the chase.

"Now lets see..." Alek muses as he empties the case out and looks through the items looking for anything unusual as he puts the stuff back in.

You dump everything out. Hmm, you don't see anything unusual...

"What's that?" Tarinda asks, pointing at something inside.
