Yeah, but she didn't do that in combat. Bumi has demonstrated generally greater on the fly power in combat than Toph has.

I can. All the time.

Well if we're talking about combat then Toph and Bumi actually stalemated in a comic, with Toph ripping apart the side of a cliff.

I'm aware.

I don't think that one was canon

Avatar Asami, unf!

I read somewhere that Mayer was the inspiration for Asami creation. Have you guys seen ergo proxy? I highly recommend watching it.

I've seen Ergo Proxy, it's pretty good, but Real/Re-L/Lil doesn't begin to resemble Asami in character or appearance. Asami's look is inspired by old-timey actress Rita Hayworth and, to some extent, Lust from FMA.

Ya know...I'm not even surprised with Kuvira at this point. Good episode. Finally got to see Iroh again even though he didn't get to do much.

I'm sure some people are gonna complain and I don't care - the giant mechasuit was fcuking awesome. Good episode. Only have one complaint - Korra's "threat" to drag the guy all over the world his entire life was absolutely ridiculous, it was only used in order to have Kuvira show her true color and give her fiancée a reason to turn on her.

Well the good guys don't kill people...intentionally. She couldn't just murder him.

Although wow. I knew she was strong but she lifted a fully grown man in a chair with one hand. Avatar State is boss. Even without it she still held him up for a bit.

-in love with the Korra-

Pretty good episode. Kuvira is still laughably evil but I'd be lying if I said she wasn't entertaining me. And the mech is oh so stupid but in a fun way. I'm not sure how Zhu-Li could possibly not know about this though.

Good stakes being raised at the end there. I like it.

Yeah, episode was good. I wasn't surprised in the slightest of what Kuvira did at the end. And I actually lol'd at Korra's threat to drag Baatar Jr. across the world.

Too bad they didn't have a Jedi with them.

She probably had some reason to suspect her. She's been with Varric for years, and even after that blow up, her just saying, "I serve you now" wouldn't fully cement her loyalty in my mind.

Also they probably had a different team working on the mech. You can't get an army that huge and not learn about compartmentalization.

Pretty good episode even if Kuriva is just being evil for the heck of it. As for the giant mecha-suit, I'm more concerned with how they built it rather than its existence itself. Then again there was the giant drill.

How was it built?

The thing is made of metal; Kuvira and co. are metal benders...

the episode was fine. The ending was soooo transparent. As soon as they came up with that plan to kidnap that bratty douche, i knew it wouldn't work because Kuvira would choose the mission over her own personal happiness.

although, i thought she would actually kill him.

I disagree with you guys who are saying she's evil for the sake of being evil... she's not Unalaq. She's doing evil things to justify her endgame. She's not simply trying to destroy the world, in her mind, she's trying to better it. I liken Kuvira more to Zaheer than Unalaq.

How were they able to make a giant mech on suhc a large scale w/o anyone, primarily Zhu Li, noticing and equip a spirit weapon that was only recently deemed complete.

Zhu Li never left Kuvira's side. At this point Kuvira has a massive army outside of the small operational force that Zhu li was privy to seeing. That mech-thing could have been constructed in any number of the city's Kuvira conquered along the way... it could have simply been hidden underground somewhere.

I'd like to hope that Kuvira isn't stupid enough to construct an entire mecha out of bendable metal.

Kuvira uses bending to fire the cannon.
