Avatar: The Legend of Korra

So once the anti-bending dad dies, the two with homosexual feelings(Benders) can get together. Clever.

Feels good being right. Mostly right.

Also, I've talked a lot of shit about this show since it started airing, and while I don't think my criticisms were unjustified for the most part, now that it's over I think I'm going to really miss it.

Book Fire had the best finale still though the action in these past two ones were beyond amazing. Book three of Korra might still be the best ever. But I loved every minute of it.

Except for the fact that writers are completely retarded when it comes to the Avatar State...again.

Also Varrick is a SWT inventor. Sounds like a Sokka. Too bad Varrick didn't fall in love with a moon. Oh wait.

HOLLY SH!T THEY ACTUALLY FUKIN DID IT! THAT'S HUGE! Seriously, when was the last time you've seen a show for both adults and kids where

Spoiler:
two main characters of the same gender end up together?
Korra may not be the biggest show ever but in a long run it's going to have a huge impact.

I could care less for teen drama crap (And god, did Korra pile on the shippers drama.)

But with the only accepable options being this or nobody, I could get behind this.

Same here.

And there will be no more Avatar TV shows apparently.

It's sad and smart to end it now even though we don't want to. I would like another season. But it was a pretty good way to end it.

If only there was more of Zaheer but I can let that slide. I will say that the ending took some balls and to have if on a Nic. show no less. I guess what we got is as far a they could take it w/o tipping off censors. I'm going to miss this show.

Edit: Oh and I've always wondered whether or not Zuko and Katara, maily Katara, simply didn't give a shit about problems in this series? Toph kind of admits she doesn't so I'm wondering if this could be cleared up.

Where was Mako during 99% of the fighting, just weird.

Nice ending

Toph implied that Katara, like her, is simply too old to get involved in these protracted fights with the young people.

Zuko explicitly does, lol. He helped fight the Red Lotus despite being even older than Katara and Toph. The more or less absence of the Fire Nation in book 4 was a little weird though.

Yeah I remember that, I just think its odd that they used the "too old" gambit even when stuff like UnaVaatu was happening.

For Zuko I was concerned with his absence in Book 4 but as you say, he's been shown in the fight and thus I'll exclude him from my cirticism.

Pretty awesome finale. So happy that

Spoiler:
Korrasami
happened. Pretty big step in the right direction.

Also can we all agree that Mako is the biggest loser of all time?

Spoiler:
The two chicks he dated ended up gay.

Or getting with him is the best she could ever do, thus she gave up

Yup. He didn't turn them gay.

He was only such a tremendously bad boyfriend, he got them to explore feelings they probably wouldn't even have considered otherwise. 😛

maaaaaaaaaan, they came soooooo close to actually going there and pussed out in the end. The implication was more than enough, but man, i would have lost my shit if they had kissed at the end.

This was a satisfying ending. Although, i was hoping for one last fight between Korra and Kuvira after the mech suit crash.

Oh and
Spoiler:
I guess KorraxAsami is canon. They just couldn't have a kiss scene could they
. Punks 😛

No, they literally can't. Not because of homophobia on the networks part, because some of the countries that air these kinds of cartoons are homophobic and would ban the show if they went there. So it's purely a business decision not to cut out swathes of their market. This is also why Marceline and PBubs can't get it on in Adventure Time btw.

The more you know.

i think we all knew that, neph... that's why we're calling them pussies.

not to tun this into a whole other kinda topic, but this is one of the reasons i hate religion. You're okay with your kid seeing a girl's dad essentially commit suicide by being crushed like a bug, but Yahweh forbid they see two women kiss. 🙄

If it makes you feel better, PB and Marceline got future-married in the comics and this ending wasn't exactly subtle.

I felt slightly like the creator's were pandering to the shippers here and it made me a little uncomfortable. I think it's cool that it happened in general but I wasn't as hyped as I should have been.
