Oblivion himself took months to form. Acting like he's going to do all that in a fight is dumb. So dumb. For real.
Thank you for admitting no outside influence took place.Key words arguable.
If that was the fact, and Kyle truthfully overcame lust of power sans Circle of Fire. He wouldn’t not have seeked out Pallax energies in the first place. Do you understand the redundancy of your argument? This line of logic breaks, even when example in the comic itself has proven otherwise.
Actually, key words would be: "more than" arguable.
Kyle subconsciously tapped them at first. He didn't go around on a scavenger hunt looking to obtain more power like Thanos or Doom does. Be careful with your language here because it's misleading. Kyle clearly didn't even want them at first as he was afraid of them. The ultimate reason Kyle had to embrace the Ion power was because it was his destiny and Nero was threatening to take them. Did you forget that? Finally, your "redundancy" criticism might make a smidgeon of sense if Kyle hadn't actually rejected what Oblivion represented -- Kyle's dark impulses -- at the very moment he embraced the Ion power:

The comic clearly points, Kyle inability reproduce those feats are due to inadequate knowledge.

The comic clearly points, Kyle inability reproduce those feats are due to inadequate knowledge. It’s a moot point. Again the comic clearly references when Kyle begin to tap into Ion powers. Which is sometime after Circle of Fire.
I am oh so surprised. Maybe after the reboot, eh? biscuits

With his ring he can do the impossible. Like teach Guy how to be a competent GL. peaches
This one is for all those fools arguing Kyle didn't have the same special ring, since his solo run. New Guardians 3 confirms Kyle still retains his "original", and always had.

Guy beat Hal Jordan.
Pre Parallax. Totally legit win, in a competition to see who could capture Goldface first. Hal was so pissed off about it, he told Kalmaku he'd better not put this in his biography. 😄
I love Kyle to death though. I'll call this 50/50, on account of Nova usually holding back his full power, and Kyle having some nice stories that showcased his imagination and resourcefulness.. (Such as shooting an emp pulse right down someones throat, disabling their hardware from the inside out..)
