Recycle debate.

In the field of science and technology is going to be Reed.

In the field of Forensic sciences and solving crime Batman rapes all the egg heads in that list.

When ask who is the smartest or more intelligent you must break it down to branches.

Sure, Reed will top Batman in science....but at the forensic level it goes all way for Batman.

call me when batman restarts a universe from memory.

and yes, that includes forensics.

Banner, yeah. Sorry if you feel offended that I don't see you fav char as high as you wish. 🙂

Trust me, it's not about you liking or disliking my favorite character. In fact, it has only to do with your lack of logic and common sense.

This is why most people know you don't read Thanos if you think Batman is more intelligent than Thanos.

I recall you admitting not reading Bat-comics so it goes both ways.

I always wondered who was the smartest between
Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic)
Dr. Doom
Hank McCoy (Beast)
Black Panther
Peter Parker (Spider-Man)
Bruce Wayne (Batman)
Tony Stark (Iron-Man)
Would love to add Thanos to the mix, i've seen him use brains over brawn alot, but not sure if its fare cause he's a cosmic being.

Feel free to add scans to back up your argument, no scanner for me.

how come you didnt add luthor ?

That's funny cause Reed has a exponentially greater mind feat than Doom on panel. Yet Doom is more intelligent... very very interesting ODG...
On this: Do people want me to decontruct Reed mapping an Omniverse feat? I'm not going to bother unless people actually think Reed is exponentially more intelligent thatn Doom.

Ummmm so you feel Batman or Banner are more intelligent than Thanos? We don't need to read all comics of these characters to deduce who is smarter do we?

This is why most people think you can't read at all. Read the part with "Marvel i would say". Bruce Banner you **** facepalm

There was another clue in that post, a second List with an "DC" over it.

Yes I want you to deconstruct said feat as I've always said. Do I feel Reed is exponentially greater than Doom.. of course not. I was using your reasoning from another thread which I also disagreed with there. However, i do believe Reed has a exponentially greater feat than Doom, but that doesn't make him more intelligent (my view). Your view is that one exponentially greater feat in one area does make someone or something superior and exponentially so. Thus, if you care to prove this feat is exponentially greater than anything Doom has.. please do so as I believe it is

^ I don't care if just you would conclude Reed would be exponentially more intelligent than Doom according to your attempted twisting of my reasoning. It'd be a waste of space on my photobucket account which is just about done with my respect thread scans.

But if others are interested and if there is some wide-spread myth and/or curiousity over it, I will.

why the hell isnt the scientist supreme on the poll?! 😠

anyways on th eleist i picked doom second i owuld consider reed

I skimmed it briefly and saw bruce. It's even worse if you think bruce banner is smarter than Thanos.

There was no twisting of any argument ODG.. that was exactly what you were arguing for... one superior feat.. makes one superior. It's all there. However, I think that is besides the point. You're asking if people view the Reed feat as him mapping out the omniverse as I do. The answer to that question is yes, most people do believe he did exactly that. This is well documented on here and people refer to it as such many a time as you've seen. So if you have proof he didn't do what many believe he did, then I would love to see the proof. I'm being serious and genuine. I'm curious as to why you don't view this feat as many others do.

Terrific would be above Tony/Hank, and below Bruce (as Terrific is the third smartest earth-born man in DC, behind Bruce and Lex...)

Michael isn't actually the 3rd Smartest Man on DC Earth, he simply had taken to referring to himself as such, possibly as a sideways form of humility (in a "I'm not the best ever, I'm just #2" manner), and it seemingly caught on. Mr. Terriffic is probably the most underrated supergenius in comics (next to The Lord of Time/Epoch).

Its assumed commonly that the 2nd and 1st in that list are Bruce and Lex but we don't know that, hell we don't even know if T is even number 3.

We don't know *any* of these relative rankings, for certain; but it's a very reasonable inference on readers' parts, and is reasonably implied by the writers, as well.

Yes, but you're wrong that it's a superior feat because you don't understand it. And just because you didn't read the comic doesn't mean I have to explain it to you and waste my time. If you're that damn curious, read it again. Particularly where Reed re-witnesses the bombardment of cosmic rays on the FF. Or garner enough interest from others and I'll deconstruct it.

Terrific is intelligent enough (and, more importantly, reflective enough) to be able to guage his overall ability to those he knows/has considerable knowledge of. Now, could there be an "unknown" character more intelligent on, and indigenous to, Earth? Sure. But it's more than reasonable to assume Terrific has a pretty good idea of what he's talking about...

... he is a genius, afterall, isn't he? 😉

(And he isn't falsely modest, either. Not full of himself, as Lex is, but is very reasonable in assessing situations, and apparently he has determined this situation for himself.)

You got my interest, go for it.

Personally I think that Mr. T is more intelligent then either Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor. Not more cunning but he has more raw IQ.

That two... Gundam... said the same thing earlier. As you well know, many peope view the feat as I do. Why offer to descontruct something and prove the majority of people wrong, and then go.. i'm not wasting my time lol. You full well know a lot of people have the same view of the feat, which according to you is wrong, thus enlighten us.
