I totally agree. There's different kind of intelligence. Napoleon and Albert Einstein might be as intelligent, but in different field of works.
But in this context, I think that the OP wanted to know if they're any comic characters smarter (IQ-wise) that Reed Richards. Because it would be pointless to ask otherwise. Like: "Is there anyone better strategist that Albert Einstein?"
Also, I would like to note that Richards is a field leader, and kicked ass since 1960s. And fought dudes like Doctor Doom. Don't understimate this cat 😛

Among the Brainiac 5s, the original has the craziest large scale super-science feats, while Threeboot is good at non-science things too (he's good at manipulating people in addition to science and is often effectively team leader), plus he's figured out how to capture souls in his forcefield. Reboot B5 is the nicest, though.
Of course, there's also the future Brainiacs. B13 is probably the smartest of all in terms of raw processing power.

Agree with all this. I'd add Threeboot's feat of calculating the precise gravemetric changes manipulations necessary to rebalance the solar system when the phantom planet materialized (during Shooter's run) using the powers of Starboy and Light Lass.
And of the Brainiac 5's, it always seemed to me like Reboot Brainy was the best at raw calculations, especially during Legion Lost, where hew as calculating the course 'faster than the computer could process', nearly burning it out.
13 was a special case, I'll be honest and say I'm not too terribly familiar with that version other than the effect that his high level tech had, and the basic idea that he was trying to digitize the universe or something. I did not care for the Loeb era of Superman (though the Kelly stuff was brilliant)

Stark, MODOK, Leader, Apocalypse and especially Doom and Banner come close but Reed is still better.

Spiderman anc Cable may have the potential to get to Reed`s level but would need a decade or so to sharpen their minds properly.

The reason why Reed is noted for his intellect because he is a genius in every scientific field that is know to humankind but it does not mean that he is better them some of the people who specialized in certin scientific field Reed stated that Otto Octavius is more knowledgeable them him when it come to radiation, he went to Bruce Banner for help about Gamma radiation, Magneto might not be a genius in every scientific field but he is a much better geneticist he created lifeforms from scratch savage land, he an expert in cloning and he has giving people powers before and he nearly almost his equal in aerospace engineering, Batman is more of a has expertise in various intellectual field not just science he is a mordern day renaissance man.
He is a skilled military strategist and taction, a higly skilled profiler(he knows all the weakness of the justice league) and much more.

What do you mean IQ wise. They are still using they intellect is just that it is driven and directed to they respect field.

Nah. I mean, yes, Reed will admit that Pym is a better xenobiologist than him, but with the caveat that it took Pym a lifetime to reach that level and that Reed could reach it with a couple of weeks worth of intensive study.
Reed is consistently put above everyone else in every area of science, save for when he comes into contact with cosmic guys like Galactus, Stranger, Thanos, etc (and even then, as I said, his actual tech FEATS put him far beyond those guys). Despite Tony Stark being the better engineer/weapons designer, it was Reed Richards that the skrulls feared in Secret Invasion, and it was Reed Richards who quickly and casually came up with a way to see through their disguises when no one else could.

They are different field of physics Reed himself stated that Doctot Oc was the his better when it comes to radiation despite being a genius in radiation himself. Reed is not better then Magneto when it comes geneticist he has more knowledge when it comes to cloning, he has created human being from scratch. I bet you he is one of the few people that can cure Ben Grimm or find a way to take away the rock skin and still maintain is super strength. It does not surpise me that Reed is able to challenge Stark in engineering since he has a deeper understadning of science Tony Sark in good at applying knowledge but he lacks Reed understanding of science. They both use science different things Stark use science to solve problems and apply sciencfic knowledge via technolgoy despite the fact that Reed has a more vested interest in creating a revolutionary invention that will benefit all mankind(he more of a humanitarian) he want to know how things work.
