He knew about Mandrakk when even Nix Uotan didn't. He knew that Darkseid's fall would allow Mandrakk to escape when even Darkseid didn't. He acted as counsel to Nix when the latter became Monitor of the Fifth World. He gave humanity the gift of knowledge knowing that it would one day save all reality in Final Crisis. FC pretty much demonstrated that his Cosmological Awareness is up there with guys like the Phantom Stranger or the Living Tribunal.

There's also his role in JLA/Avengers which I consider canon where he displayed immense cunning and wisdom in ensuring that both he, Grandmaster, and Krona got their wish without either DC or Marvel being destroyed.

You've been reading those out of continuity one shots haven't you? I told you this over a year ago, but I'll repeat myself: Out of continuity shit isn't applicable to canon 616 characters.

Odin always has to teach Thor lessons and things. He's wiser. The only time Thor was wiser than Odin was when he became Rune King Thor.

Okay first off that's non-canon.
Second off even if it were in continuity it's contradicted by virtually all of Odin's other appearances where he's shown to be wiser than Thor.
