Resident Evil 6

A neat little article that talks about all the scrapped ideas for RE5. For example, the first trailer had a younger looking/sounding Chris going up against faster zombies. Also, it was single player. Remember this trailer?

The early build of the Public Assembly battle looked pretty cool in that second trailer. It had Chris going up against a shit ton more Majini alone. It also included cool little set pieces like Chris holding off on top of a bus that the enemies would overturn. That part reminds me of RE4 when you went inside that building and it triggered the cutscene of Leon holding off in the building while a ganado revved up a chainsaw.

There were also a ton of boss ideas that were scrapped. For example, Chris was supposed to fight some kind of ancient BOW in the ruins. There was another point were he was going to fight 10-15 El Gigantes at the same time. Yet another cool scrapped boss was a massive Uroburos leech that you were supposed to fight on top of a train.

It seems like the game had all kinds of scrapped points. Too bad about them ditching the early solo Chris vs Zombies build though.

lol, why does Jake shove Leon at first? Didn't know there were parts with Jake and Sherry riding a motorcycle. Am sure those parts will be fun. Probably my favorite trailer yet even though it had some bits and pieces we already saw.

And that scrapped RE5 stuff is old news (thought the part with Wesker's eye being his achilles heel was silly though). Don't remind me again of what could've been. 🙁

9/10! Pretty good first score. Hopefully, the trend continues.

There's more content and variety here than in any other entry in the series, and its stories - while a little too goofy to really take seriously - are nonetheless fascinating, particularly for those of us who've watched these characters grow and develop over the years...RE6 is a strange experience, to be sure - but more importantly, it's an unforgettable one.

You would too if you were territorial with women. But seriously, I doubt Jake was informed about Leon and a guy you don't know walking up to your lady friend with a not so kind face like he's Batman about to interrogate a Riddler goon is pretty understandable why you'd shove him.

So I'm finally getting more familiar with the controls for the gameplay and honestly, I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about it being terrible. It's pretty good once you learn how it works.

It's understandable. Chris is heavily dedicated to his team and hopes to watch their backs just as much as they do his and to fail in helping them when they got infected messed him up pretty good and is now like "dude, **** it." It sure fits the "No Hope Left" tagline for this game don't you think?

Yeah i only just noticed that

finished paying off my pre-order.

Capcom says if we really want it, they'll remake Resident Evil 2.

Question now is, remake it with which kind of gameplay? As for whether or not I'll get it, depends on the timing of its release, as I have enough other remakes/re-releases on my radar already. They may have waited a little too late to please me with an RE2 remake.

Hmm RE2 remake . Wanted this since REmake. In fact I remember foolishly buying a gamecube thinking Capcom wuld remake all REs. Ignorance is bliss. Perhaps too late? Who da **** am I kidding? I'll be all over it like a crack whore.

If there's anything we learned, it's that they complain because they can't adapt. "Resident Evil isn't Resident Evil anymore"? If we were talking about Milla Jovovich, I would probably agree. Since it's not, that's just someone being stubborn...
