kakashi bumrushes gorgon slick as hell like so:
the clone* can take it to gorgon without worry of getting turned to stone** (* kakashi uses clones ** stone stare working on the lightning clone is dubious))
^ as you can see, kakashi can apear to be facing an oponent, but like any good ninja (in naruto, and most ninja manga), he can create clones of himself that are perfect as the originals (just with barely any durability), but kakashi can use shape manipulation + his natural ability to utilize lightning chackra to form "lightning clones".

uses his mangekyo sharingan to kill gorgon from a distance

whatever speed gorgon has, the sharingan can follow, and place kakashi's actions a STEP AHEAD of.
add shunshins (high speed movement via building up internal chackra and using it to move your body not unlike the speed force), clones (including lightning clones), and his vast array of summons.
