Hero High 3: A New World

Gaku was happy to be sparring and he that it was great to have more people so that he can learn to counter or move off attacks that he's never seen preparing him for if someone else does it. Gaku readied himself baring his sharp dragoon teeth at mr Brok as be did that his skin slightly scaled small enough it wasn't really able to be seen it helped that it was the same color as his skin. Gakus muscles slightly flexed ready to protect him from strong hits. Gaku knew that mr Brok was a combat teacher for a reason and that he should try holding back or it would show disrespect to a superior fighter. "Im game for it I won't hold back if I can't last long against you then that means I have to train that much harder to be in SF and sir the last thing on my mind is giving up my type don't like to quit."

“Yes I know what it’s like not wanting to waste just a fine work of art. Maybe we should talk about it later. Now as for calling Naomi that might be a bit of a problem. See wee know for a fact it can infect supers which means Techno-paths would be a extreme danger at this moment. If I’m correct they’d be able to rip the signals location right out the air. Unless I found a way to use encrypt iced fragment code into the phone. While your all here take my phone. I’ve rewired the systems to currently work as a biological sensor of both infected and uninfected being. Infected will appear as red. Uninfected green. I’m guessing that knowing Naomi also means she tried to save a section of the city and has people tagging along with her. You’ll end those photon guns over there and a new a basic adrenaline shot to keep her aware.”

Liam grinned at DJ as he took the phone. "This might interest you." he said, holding the phone flat in the palm of his hand. At once, the nanomachines swarmed all over it like a black wave, covering it completely. After a few seconds a beeping sound came from the armor and the phone reappeared. "Technology assimilation." Liam explained. "It's not an accurate term, but now the nanomachines can do what your phone can. Now we can use the other if one gets compromised. It doesn't work on weapons though, except for a stun gun and explosive darts, for some reason."
The black mass of micro technology shifted, so that Liam's entire body was covered again. "Let's gear up and leave. DJ, can you give us a general direction to head towards, or are we on our own out there?"

Gaku was quick to start the sparring and he didn't want Mr Brok to make the first move. Using his quick speed he dashed at Mr Brok clinching his fists he threw two punches one aimed high one aimed low. He didn't want to use his power just yet but he did use his dragoon strength to put more damage on the punch to Mr Brok. He loved being in the heat of the battle it seemed fun to sparr.

Ezra blinked and took a few steps back as Gaku lunged at Andrew. Oh, sparring with him... didn't see that coming he thought to himself.
As Gaku threw his high and low punch, Ezra visor immediately spotted a hole right between Gaku's fists. It looked like Gaku had committed a lot of power in this first strike and Ezra hoped Andrew hadn't seen the hole.
Ezra sighed, obviously he had to wait his turn. As the sparring initiated, Ezra took a few steps back and fell down onto the fountain edge, resuming the position he was in only a few moments ago. Well I might as well watch, could learn a lot from these two in this training alone. Ezra reached up to his visor and pressed a small button on the side, causing the visor to focus on it's analytical abilities. Now Andrew, show me why you're the teacher and he's the student, Ezra thought pleasantly.

“Well if only one of you were a telepath. I can’t scan for her but I’m sure Janet can. Reason why I can’t is because I’m sure there are more supers out there that haven’t been infected yet. It would take hours if not days to find her, and since we don’t have a psychic link with her like the teachers we’ll have to do it the old fashion way and just call her with your comlinks.”

A few blocks outside from the factory Naomi was keeping as a as safe haven a old enemy of the teachers was slashing her way through the horde of infected. She had kept this up for days with her team. This apartment complex was the only place where life was semi normal. Taking turns fighting off these things with other villains such as Ashlocke ,Star, Nova Gama, and Wraith. Tracy was in fact enjoying this though she was of a anti hero type.

Caleb by this time powers had shifted into invisible force type. “ I hate to interrupt but every moment we spend talking is every moment Naomi chances of getting to safety drops. I’ll grab the medical kit. DJ while I do that could you give us a quick briefing on anything we might need to know.”

“Alright. Infected are just about crawling around everywhere. From our studies they are currently more active because it’s night. Uriah, your in the most danger out there since your powers are defensive projectile. I’ve been working on this sonic pulse admitter just incase we ran into something like this. This is simply a two arm bands that work along with your powers. So if your being attacked act as if you were going to use your powers and these bands will release a shock wave similar to Tori’s sonic scream. Once I’ve contacted Janet I’ll tell you where she

Sam stopped poking Leon with the shadow stick and stood up, she had no idea where she was needed most and if she was needed at all in this mission. "So where will I be, staying here to protect the base or heading out with the others?" she asked before DJ and Liam started babbking on about techno-stuff while they waited to get in contact with Janet.
-------------------------

Zero walked mindlessly though the school in search for something to do, nothing was going on right now and it seemed that Strike Force was out again. They seemed to aways be busy and get to go on crazy adventures, "Maybe I should join SF. Nah too much work and I can't take orders from some scrub student leader, I barely listen to the adults," she said with a sigh. Walking around with nothing to do was extremely boring and a waste of her energy. Zero spotted Andrew again and it looked like he was in a practice match with some weirdo looking kid with weirdo blue hair. The cat girl was automatically curious to see the fight even though she knew what the out come would be but it was better then walking around aimlessly. "Hey new G.O guy," she said jogging up to Ezra in normal speed. "Any idea who the weirdo kid is?" Zero said scratching the back of her cat ears because no one else would, her tail swayed back and forth while she watched the kid lunch an attack that would leave him wide open for a counter attack.

Janet's words had given Liam an idea. He place his thumb and finger to his ear and mouth, as though talking on an imaginary phone. A few seconds quiet beeping later, and Andrew's voice suddenly sounded on loudspeaker.
"Liam? Thank god you're alright!"
"Only because of this armor."
"No matter. Look, We've sent Strikeforce down - "
"Yea, I know, shut up and listen for a second, Andrew."
Liam told the whole story as quickly and accurately as he could. When Andrew spoke next, he sounded grave.
"Sound like post traumatic stress syndrome."
"Lovely."
"It's unfortunate. Given the circumstances, you're going to have to lead the search party."
"You're not serious!"
"Leon is down, and with the second in command staying behind to protect the base, the position falls to the most qualified, which is you. You're the only graduate there, and you have more experience with the Hive than anyone else there. It has to be you."
"But what if I - "
"Sam and DJ." Andrew said over the loudspeaker, cutting Liam off. "I want you to look at Liam's PTSD before the search party leaves. Between the two of you, there should be a solution that'll hold back his condition until this is all over. After that you can come back here and get a proper examination."
"That's all I can help you with for now. I will get in contact with Janet ASAP and get her to call you. Funny thing is, I was going to get Leon to join our little psychic broadcast channel, but we never had the time. Best of luck to you all. DJ and Liam, it's your call from now on."
and with that, Andrew hung up.
The second Andrew hung up the phone he raised his energy awareness. He had at last figured how to do this without alarming any telepathic students. In seconds he was at the right energy frequency for Janet to notice his presence.
*Janet. We have a Strikeforce emergency. I need you to contact them now. They'll be on the move while you talk to them, so be prepared. I'm going to let julien know as well.*

"and what about me" Hitosu said ready to start his mission

Janet spun around in her chair as she crossed her legs and relaxed while listening to Andrew.* You know you have a habit of doing this right when I’m in the middle of a lesson. Non the less let me see what I can do.* “Class. Take a five minute break.” Once her eyes were closed she found herself hovering over New York City.
* “Naomi…where are you?” She could see every infected mind for what they use to be as well as what they had become. “There!! The factory” She could see Naomi along with a few humans sleeping in this cold, dark and dirty make shift safe house. *“ Help is on it’s way. Hold tight.”*
* Strike Force. Naomi is about a mile or two northwest of you. She’s in a factory but be careful. The area isn’t safe. Infected are at a low. Reason for that being is Tracy, Ashlocke, the twins Star and Nova Gamma, last Wraith himself. I’m also sensing Pintar somewhere within the city. It’s likely they are protecting both supers and humans alike but I’m more than sure given the chance they’d love to take you down to get to us. I’ll grant a temporary psychic link to us teachers should you need us. *

Pintar was getting weaker by the minute the hive took over his hiding spot and now he was starting to weaken. "Three day's damn I'm starting to slowly fade urgh" Pintar started his illusion again using his mind to focus on Hitosu trying to get his attention he does this seek his aid. "I have to end these hive jerks before the end me".

Okazu and Bushido head to the training classes "Alright so what's your power Bushido" Bushido replied to Okazu "I have pure electric attacks and you". Okazu was a little embarrassed but said it any way "I can only Transform I have the powers of a Tanooki". Bushido looked at him "hmm can't wait to see that power in action"

Hitosu sat in the air floating meditating he soon went into a small trance his usual trance for Meditation and to channel his aura he started to sense a familiar aura it reeked of blood and malice the same aura that he sensed fighting Pintar. *Hitosu you must accept that you and I are the same support me in my mission please.*
Hitosu was starting to lose he couldn't hold his trance any further and awoke broken in a sweat "Why does he keep showing up he's gone he won't be back and never will."

Teara sat in a room with a cup of coffee waiting for another meeting but to also see how her son was doing after his first training session.

*Hey Janet, it's Liam* Liam thought, looking around as if he could see Janet around somewhere. *Andrew reckons I may have PTSD. Can you help me with that in any way? I'm kinda desperate.* Knowing they could move while Janet responded, Liam motioned for the others to follow and moved out of the complex. "We'll be better off higher up." he told the others over his communicator. "We are more vulnerable on the ground level, so I want everyone to climb a ways up a building. Stay away from any kind of plumbing, and don't touch anything that resembles the Hive. Stay alert and keep in constant contact."

Simon folded his hands. Andrew and Leon had time to update all of the heroes on the Hive and he already knew this. But considering the level of concern Bennu and Pryce were showing, he took a chance.

"Ok. So what do you two plan on doing about it? Like I said, Strike Force is already on it but we don't have anyone here. Andrew can only do so much, Ben is dealing with everything else and I don't even know where Julian is. How's about I work with you two. I go along with whatever is decided and give my experience as input. After all, this is a school and we're supposed to training you kids. What better way to gain some experience than by actually being in the field?"

He looked at the two of them with an expectant look.

Bennu wasn't entirely sure what to do. She'd expected a punishment of some kind, and the thought that they'd get help had never crossed her mind. Pryce was all the help she'd ever had, or even needed, but Simon but Simon could open up all kinds of possibilities. Bennu hadn't really planned very far past the initial investigation of Club Thunder, but she didn't consider that much of a problem; she'd just wanted enough information to put together something that resembled a plan. She and Pryce hadn't found much, but Bennu found herself going over it, hoping to find something.

Bennu gave a sideways glance to Pryce, who was still tightly clutching her hand, trying to stay focused enough to prevent his (lack of) power from going wild. From what he'd said, the goo thing was alive, like a bacteria or something, but huge, and capable of retaining coherency over a distance. Then, if what Bennu knew about Club Thunder was right, it had some kind of resistance to the music's hypnotic effects, but that was a given for something that far from human. Then, whatever the thing was took down several ferals, given the club's usual patrons, so Bennu guessed physical attacks were less effective on it. She didn't remember seeing much blood, either, so it probably hurt people some other way, maybe poison. It wasn't a whole lot to go on, but Bennu felt she knew enough to do something about it.

Bennu reached a conclusion, and leaned forward, placing one hand on Simon's desk. "Okay," she said, "Strike Force is already moving, right? I'm betting they already know where this thing is, 'cause it doesn't look like it's a subtle thing once it gets going." Bennu stepped back a little, and gestured to Pryce, hiding slightly behind her. "Pryce says he felt a life force in the stuff at Club Thunder, sounds to me like it's real hard to get rid of. Might even piece itself back together. I'm thinking we sterilize the place, keep it from building itself a base."

"Um," Pryce interjected suddenly, "I thought the club looked like a, um, practice round, I guess. It wasn't as large scale as it could be. I know I saw some of the stuff in vents and sinks, and if it has access to those..." Pryce trailed off, following the train of thought.

"It might be in the water," Bennu finished. "I get it, the water might be contaminated by something. And then...does the school have defences for that sort of thing? We could set some up around the school, like, a fire drill type thing to warn people, and fortify some of those entry points." Bennu clapped hands, finally taking her hand from Pryce's. "Let's take this thing out."

Simon simply smiled and nodded his head. "Considering I'm not as on top of things as Ben or Julian, I can't say if we have any kind of defense against something that could possibly invade the school via a piping system. So one of us could check on that but what else should be done?"

Ezra turned to look at Zero and smiled behind his mask, the sarcastic thought of Perfect, the girl I lied to earlier... ran through his mind. As she approached, he looked back at Gaku. Do I keep it up or just tell her?
"Hey Zero. To be honest I don't really know, his name is Gaku and apart from that, all I know is that he can fly."
Ezra paused for a moment and turned back towards Zero.
"By the way, I'm not a G.O." Ezra smiled, a little embarassed. "Really I'm just a new senior student I guess..."
Ezra bit his lip, now were the painful seconds. Ezra felt as though he had just given away his darkest secret, Shut up, it's not that big of a deal.
"Sorry for making you think that?" he laughed nervously.

*Sure thing Liam.* Janet allowed her astral Image to manifest into Liam’s mind. She stood looking at the chaotic energy bounce around his mind. Simple task this should be. She just needed to stop them from moving around while inducing his mind into a sleep yet alert state. *Liam. While your leading the team I’ll be helping you by linking your mind with mine. This also means I’ll be able to manifest my powers through you should you need them while keeping you awake*

“Hell Yeah!!!” Tracy yelled out loud as she ran into the horde of infected. What she didn’t notice was that this group had infected her. Soon enough she found herself walking along the streets of the city. She could smell the members of strike force and was heading toward them. Black slim covered her now mutated body, which was now like Katt’s Were-Feline form.

Computer: “ Shields, and photon sentries are now active DJ. Number of infected within a mile radius. 75. 50 human the rest animal.”

Dj walked over to Leon. “Come Leon. You gotta make it. I’m not even ranked as second in command and yet everyone is looking at me like I am. You are a natural born leader while me on the other hand. I’m just the cool guy on the team that happens to have one of the best IQ’s in the worlds. I need you to make it ok. I can’t , I won’t be the leader of Strike Force. I can’t have their lives in my hands.”

Caleb looked up at the roof tops. “ Liam we might have a small problem with that. You have acrobatics of a monkey. The rest of us don’t. I’m not even use if I can make force bridges that will allow us all to cross.”

“Yeah Man. That’s a long shot.” Uriah added not sure if this plan was going to work. He’d rather just stay to the ground while Caleb made them both invisible which still was a dangerous in it’s self with meta-humans like ferals that could see into the heat and light spectrum.

*Thanks. I owe you. I owe everyone...* Liam looked back at the group. "You two can't travel? That makes things tricky. We can't all stay hidden on the ground - It would only be a matter of time before we were spotted. We may have no choice but the plow right through them."

Meanwhile, Leon slept. He was having a dream that recurred often, but perhaps having Liam smack him around unhinged his subconscious somehow, because now everything resembled Lance Donovan in some way. Even the trees and grass around Leon seemed to give off Lance's lofty demeanor. Leon could guess the meaning behind this dream. The hero community was expecting great things from Strikeforce's leader, and often they would compare him to Lance, who had lead a similar team a lifetime ago. Some had even gone so far as to call Leon 'the next Lance,' but it was all so stupid. They were nothing alike.
Lance was this great magic user, who could do crazy things like mimic the powers of others, or else shape shift into a dragon. Lance had helped save the world numerous times, and people expected Leon to compete with that reputation. The sheer stress of it all would have been enough to make Leon pass out, if he hadn't already done so. As it was, all he could do was wrestle with his subconscious, and blow up everything with shockwaves, one shifting dream at a time. He twitched and mumbled in his sleep "I am not Lance..."

((Sorry for the DP.))

Andrew had only just hung up his mental call with Janet when Gaku attacked. The combat teacher did not move. As soon as Gaku's fists came within inches of Andrew, two sparks of lightning shot from Andrew's body, intercepting the punches. The electric shock sent Gaku flying back several metres. Andrew had not moved, or spoken. His innate power over electricity had reacted to the danger, without his input. "I said I would train you. I didn't say I would fight you myself. You have a sparring partner right here." The teacher said, gesturing towards Ezra.

As they were walking to the student lounge to get something to eat, Ben suddenly keeled over. Katt caught him just before his head hit the ground and Andy got the familiar blank stare of a vision on his face.

*Ben and two other people, (an Asian woman with short jet black hair and glowing green eyes, holding a rod with a blue orb on top of it and a Mexican-looking boy about 14 or 15 years of age, with a rather large hammer) were surrounded by a bunch of demons. As they charged, Ben conjured his energy bow and arrow and shot off a volley of magic arrows. The demons that were hit turned into a puff of smoke.

The woman was graceful as she avoided the demon attacks. It looked as if she were dancing. When one took a swipe at her, she shimmied out of the way and a stream of of blue energy erupted out of the orb. It grabbed the demon and pulled him into the orb.

The boy was simply crushing demons with his hammer. If Andy hadn't lived at a school with various people in possession of superstrength, he would have been in awe of the boy with the large hammer. The boy lifted and swung the weapon as if it were just a regular stick.

When all of the demons were gone, a mist appeared in front of the trio. They all lowered their weapons as the mist took the form of an old Asian man. He had a very long moustach and he was wrikled all over. He smiled at the three of them and simply disappeared.

When Ben turned towards the other two, the woman winked and the boy nodded and they disappeared, as well.*

When Andy came out of his vision, he saw that Ben had composed himself and they he and Katt were staring at him patiently.

He left out a disappointed sigh and said to Ben, "So I guess you have to leave, huh?"

Katt quickly looked to Ben with a hurt look. "Wha-, leave? Leave where?! When?!"

"The spirits need me. I have been aware of a potential uprise in demonic activity in the Spirit World for a while now. But things were happening here and I could not just leave in the midst of chaous. I am guessing that I would have to leave as soon as possible before too much damage is done."

"So who are the Asian lady and Mexican boy," Andy asked.

"I have no idea. But I am almost positive that they are the ones who have been trying to contact me. They are the ones who I need to help."

Katt let out a defeated sigh. She knew that Ben couldn't ignore his duties as the Link between the Spirit and human worlds and she didn't want him to. But it seemed like every time they were going to get to spend some family time together, something came up.

"Ok. Just be careful, baby." Katt kissed Ben long and passionately until Andy cleared his throat.

"Um... Can you bring me back a demon skull or something?"

"You are not serious, are you? You want me to bing you back a skull? Of a demon?"

Andy got an unashamed expression on his face. "Okay. It doesn't have to be a demon skull. Maybe a claw or something."

"You are such a weird kid, Andy," Katt quipped.

Ben ruffled the boy's hair and kissed Katt once more before he flew off to his office. When he arrived, he gathered some ingredients and formed a circle. He casted a spell while tossing his blended ingredients on the ground in front of him. He disappeared in a swirl of mulit-colored smoke. There was that destiny thing keeping him away from his family again.

Ezra raised his eyebrows. Wow! That was... incredible! He thought as the arcs of lighting struck Gaku. Ezra had noticed that Andrew hadn't moved a muscle when the lighting struck, and it confused him greatly that such a strong ability would require almost no reaction. I'm not even sure if he flinched...
Ezra turned to Zero to discuss what just happened but before he could even open his mouth, Ezra heard "You have a sparring partner right here."
Ezra turned back to Gaku, and made a little gulping sound. He was in no way prepared to fight someone who could fly. It's ok, just be calm, he makes errors in attacks.
With a sigh Ezra unslung his bag from his shoulder and began to unzip it. The light flooded in an instantly hit metal. In his bag lay 4 pieces of equipment; a chest plate, two shoulder plates and a gauntlet. Ezra took a second to think about what he needed, and finally came to the conclusion that using everything would be unnecessary. He reached in and pulled out the gauntlet, a piece of Vasteri technology. It looked bulky and grey however it weighed almost next to nothing. Ezra slid on the gauntlet on his left hand and clenched his fist. It felt weird to see the technology work. Even though it was metal, the area which his hand went in moved as though it was leather, allowing his hand and fingers to move freely as if it were a glove. He stood up and turned to Gaku, reaching up with his right hand to his visor where he pressed another button causing his visor to glow a faint red.
Come on then
"You Ok Gaku?" he called.
Let's do this.
Ezra smiled.
