STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION - Desecration

You can't see too much of it from where you are. Whatever it is, it's metallic.

"Found the guns, they're back here," Rura comms you a moment later, as they had gone to look as well.

"Yeah, I see them," Galder says. "Time to dismantle them."

Galder will head in that direction, annoyed at the close proximity that the guns have to the temple.

Right under your nose, right?

When you get there, it's not a huge emplacement, but still large enough that even though Rianna's been swiftly destroying them with her saber there's plenty left for you to wreck.

Galder will set to work on it, joining Rianna in the destruction. Once it is dismantled enough, Galder steps back to admire their handiwork.

"Well, that takes care of that," Galder says.

"Destroy the ships yet, or were you waiting for help with that as well?" Rianna comments, turning away from the wreckage.

"We've got a long way back to my ship," Taiza says.

"Idea," Galder says. "Something someone I know has done before. Let's rig the ships to go into hyperspace inside the gravity well, on the ground. It'll rip them apart, easy. We just need to take one of them, we can issue some sort of command from it, get everything synced up... sound good?"

"That should do the trick," Rura replies, and Taiza nods agreement.

"Then let's get to it," Galder says before drifting back in the direction of the ships.

(Let's make some progress.)

Sounds good to me!

Rura and Taiza can help you program the ships to make the jump. Rianna points out that she's no good with that sort of thing but will happily make it difficult for any pirates to attempt to remove the programming, should they return, by using her lightsaber to seal the ships shut after you finish up fiddling with the controls.

Excellent. Galder is then going to pick out the most heavily armed ship for his own.

You find yourself a small freighter that is absolutely bristling with guns - whoever owned it seemed to have been trying to prove some sort of point. Likely "I'm a coward, leave me alone!", you'd think.

There's about a half-dozen more ships besides the one you've claimed as yours.

Alright.

"I don't just want to leave these assholes stranded," Galder says. "I want to use this ship to lure them back here to their ships. Then, we'll trigger our trap. It should kill everyone that comes back here."

"How are you going to do that? Blow up something on our way away?" Rianna asks, as Rura and Taiza split off to mess about with the other ships.

"Sounds about right," Galder says. "Or tap into their comms and send out a message recalling them. Explosions sound more like my kind of thing, though."

"More noticeable and more likely to get a fast response, too."

Is Galder going to help program the hyperspace jump into the other ships as well?

Yes he is, with what little Fix-It he has.

Two successes on a Fix-It roll is enough; it takes about half an hour all told, but between the three of you the programming is put into the ship's computers. Rianna follows behind and uses her lightsaber to more or less weld the doors of the ships shut, to make sure no one tampers with anything.

Good.

Now, let's get to scout patrol hunting...

Any particular way you want to go about this?

Look for electronic signatures and life signs on the ship's scanners, if it has them. Or just simply look for the speeders moving across the wastes of this damned planet.
