STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION - Desecration

"Back to Tatooine we go," Taiza calls out from the cockpit. It only takes a few moments for the ship to leave Iragez's atmosphere and for her to program in the hyperspace coordinates, and then you are gone.

Somehow you doubt anyone will return to this planet, but at least there's nothing more to be found there.

The return trip will take a few days; plenty of time to rest and heal your wounds. Anything in particular you want to do in that time?

Galder will tinker with the holocron, to see if he can get anything out of it.

You fiddle around with the pieces you kept; you manage to mostly reassemble one of the sides, but whatever the script engraved on the delicate glass says, you cannot read it. Rianna takes a look at it but only shrugs, saying that she was never good with languages and while she knows some Jedi Lore, it doesn't help much here.

There's something on it, you're sure of it; you just need someone else to translate for you.

"Blah," Galder says. "I'm sure Rand would be more than happy to, but he's not going to share it with us."

"Gallador might, unless Rand tells him not to," Rianna says. "He's loud and annoying but not as crazy as Rand. And he seems to be more of a bookworm."

"Looks like we'll be taking it to him first, then," Galder says. He picks it up, looking over the intricately carved letters. "I wonder what was on it..."

"No idea. Something important; I've never actually seen a holocron but they didn't hold random, trivial things."

"Especially not this one," Galder says. "Whatever was on it drove Dusan right off the deep end. Must've been too much for him to handle... but then again, he wasn't much."

"I got the impression he might have been slightly cracked before finding it...either way, I'd be wary," Rianna replies.

"Do we tell Rand it was ruined, then?" she says a moment later.

"Would you?" Galder asks.

"I'd rather not tell him anything about it, but he'll find out anyway. Gallador can never keep his mouth shut for long."

"Then might as well tell him we found nothing when we get there," Galder says. "Just so we can get it to Gallador."

"Fine by me."

With that Rianna doesn't seem terribly inclined to talk anymore, and goes to take a nap on one of the bunks, leaving you alone for the moment.

Galder will meditate, then, to see if he missed anything from his vision or if that is all said and done.

You slip into a meditative trance, however, as far as you can tell there is nothing more to see. None of it is coming back to you at the moment.

Galder will put an end to that pretty damn quickly, then. It would make him bored.

Meditation - not Galder's cup of tea.

So, anything else you want to do?

Patch himself up a little bit more if possible, so that he doesn't return to Rand and company all beat up.

He'll ask Taiza if she's pleased with what she grabbed.

Not a problem, that; between the time it'll take to reach Tatooine and then to get back to where the other Dark Siders are hiding, you'll have plenty of time to heal fully, barring any other incidents.

"They may look small, but they're flawless gems," Taiza says, patting the pocket where she tucked away her loot. "Just have to find the right buyer, but that won't be hard."

"Yeah, I'm sure," Galder says. "I hardly know about such things."
