"Not well. He stabbed me through the stomach. I think he only didn't kill me because he was still trying to force me to the Dark Side at the time."

"Well, it worked."

"No, that took a bit longer. What that succeeded in causing immediately was destroying my 'career' as a Jedi. I managed to hold out on my own for a few months after escaping from the Temple."

"Lovely. I've never been to the Temple..."

"Comsider yourself lucky, then," Rianna says. "There, I've told you something interesting. Now you tell me something."

"Like what?" Galder asks.

"I don't know," she replies with a shrug. "How you ended up with Kuylen."

Galder frowns.

"He hired me as a bodyguard. He had been keeping tabs on me and wanted to test me. I ended up helping him fight off a Rodian gang that was after him. After that, he took me on as one of his students."

"Sounds like fun..." she comments dryly. "So it sounds like you actually had some choice over this."

"Yep. Kuylen never forced anyone to join him. All of us were free to walk away at any time, unless we had displeased him or betrayed him. Many made use of it... some were too stupid or pathetic to appreciate Kuylen's drive and stick with the plan. Others may have seen that we were going to fail on Zeiton. I dunno."

"Maybe they realized from the start the plan would have never worked as intended," Rianna says. "I've never had that sort of freedom, even the brief time I was on my own I was hiding from the Jedi and Rand."

"It should have," Galder snarls bitterly. "It should have worked just fine. And I never really was all that free. I've always had hunters on my back."

"Things rarely ever work out as they should," Rianna snaps, getting up. "If they did, I wouldn't be anywhere near here. I'm going inside. It'll be a while before Rand's done poking at the bits of holocron, I'm betting."

She walks off, and that leaves you alone. It appears that the others have all been sent off on things to do by Rand, so you remain left alone for as long as you feel like tinkering with your ship.

Galder will do it for an hour or so before going to find Gallador.

When you find him, he appears to be writing down notes about something in a language that you cannot read. He is alone when you enter.

He leans back and looks up at you expectantly, but does not say anything.

"We need to talk," Galder says.

"Interesting. I don't think you've ever come to me to talk before. What may we have to talk about, Galder?" the scholarly Dark Jedi says, setting aside what he had been working on.

"I just brought Rand a holocron and several Sith books," Galder says to Gallador. "He's going to need your help with them. I don't think he's going to tell me what they say. I want you to do so."

"Is that so?" Gallador says smoothly. "Could it not be that if Rand chooses to not share everything - if he even decides to hide something - that there may be a good reason for it?"

"That's stupid."
