STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION - Desecration

"Well, no guarantees there. Maybe I'm just lucky," she says. "I sometimes pass weird stuff I hear about to the Mecrossans, so you never know."

With that everyone leaves the ship, Taiza taking her leave to head off to the cantina you found her in, saying something about wasting no time in finding a buyer for those gems. Rura also makes his farewells, stating that he's got other jobs waiting on him, and takes his leave.

"Maybe we can actually get to the ship without angering someone for a change," Rianna remarks a bit sarcastically.

"Doubtful," Galder says in a flirty, joking way. "Be ready to stab everyone just in case."

Rianna just rolls her eyes at you, but places her hand on her lightsaber, just in case.

However, it proves to be unneeded; call it luck or the Force favoring you, but the streets are deserted and the two of you make it back to your ship with no mishaps - in fact, you see no one at all.

When you settle yourself in the cockpit, you see the comm unit blinking.

Galder will pin that on an incoming sand storm or something like that, to put himself at ease about the empty streets.

When he settles in, he checks the comm.

It's from Rand.

"Somehow I feel that message I received earlier was not terribly truthful...contact me once you return to the ship. I will be waiting."

"Great..." Rianna comments.

Galder will laugh to himself and then send Rand a message while taking off.

What are you sending him?

Can't Galder just get him on the line?

Of course, and it only takes a few moments for a response.

"Galder. Of course that previous message was slightly inaccurate. Did the information pan out?" Rand says.

"It did," Galder says, simply.

"So you found the holocron, then," he states. "What does it contain?"

"Good. Question. Someone beat us to it."

"What? I was under the impression that this was an isolated planet that very few knew of..." Rand hisses.

"Yeah, so? There was a Dark Jedi using it as a base for his pirate gang."

"A Dark Jedi? Really now," Rand says scornfully.

"Yes, Rand, really. And whatever was on that holocron broke his mind," Rianna snaps.

"Quiet," Rand replies, his image turning to glower at Rianna. "Did you manage to recover anything, then?"

"I have the holocron but it's a little... fragmented. There is some writing on it that you may be able to decipher. I want to know what it says just as much as you do. I don't know if you'll be able to salvage anything, though."

"Fragmented...return to Arbra with what you have found immediately. I want to take a look at this myself."

With that the small image of Rand disappears.

"Hooray, mission success," Galder says, punching in the coordinates for Arbra. "Think he'll actually show us what this mumbo jumbo says?"

"If he does, I doubt he'll tell us all of it," Rianna says. "He's always keeping things to himself."

"Wonderful."

Galder will make the jump to hyperspace once the ship is out of Tatooine's orbit.
