Super "fighting speed" and super reflexes in the context of comics are often the same thing, hence why Deathstroke's reflexes allow him to fight speedsters despite them logically being vastly faster than him.
Your argument that Thanos needed a better partner than DS was predicated on the assertion that DS couldn't fight against super fast opponents (except for one "version" that fought against Orion who is slower than Superman), which is patently false as seen by his fights with Superman.
Also where are Thanos's showings of "combat super speed" since those seem to be so important to winning or losing this battle (enough that the percieved lack thereof in DS makes him a "bad partner" for Thanos)?
I have NEVER ONCE said Thanos can fight at super speed… never. I think he can fight a good speeds but not super speeds. I've said he has excellent and fast reaction speed as we've seen in dealing with blitz. How you feel are the same is beyond me. Think of it this way… in the 100 yard dash… some people have the quickest reaction time from the gun… yet get blown away after the first half of the race by THE faster people with speed. Reaction speed isn't the same as super fighting speed. People can have both but sometimes people can have more or one or the other. Fact. However, I guess then you feel that Thanos has super speed.. lol.. nice. Thanks Omega. You said.. if you have reaction speed then you have super combat speed. Cool.. guess you view Thanos as having this and I'll hope to see this stated in other arguments 🙂
The next reading comprehension failure you exhibited was again not understanding why I was saying Thanos needs a better partner. I said that because DS plain sucks at h2h. His durability is crap and he doesn't have much MA skill to speak of. That combined with a lack of super fighting speed makes him a liability. I give wwh, thor, Supes all a slight majority over DS in a strictly h2h affair. THAT is why I said Thanos needs a better partner. Not because he doesn’t have super speed. Never once said that. I only brought up the Orion fight to say… if DS is fighting at this ONE TIME level never seen before or since… he would be an asset.. all of his other showings.. show him NOT fighting at that speed and mostly getting punked when it goes h2h. Next time try and get my arguments correct please.
Lastly, I just want to clarify because you keep dodging the question… You feel DS can fight at super speeds correct? You feel this way because… he's dealt with Supes before right? You also feel like all of DS other fights were at super speeds even though it was never even implied, let alone said, yet you feel he was right?
