All that typing and you didn't prove jack sh!t. Good job.

Of course your opinion couldn't be swayed, Blade is involved.

You know it's alright for you relate to a meaningless, surface characteristic of a character and still remain rational and impartial. Give it a try.

If I had more ambition I'd take you to school but it's not really worth it.

I actually think Negus hit Blade with the gun because Blade didn't even have the gun in the previous panel. Also Spider-Man's suit must have a healing factor also.

Any time you want to take me to school just let me know, it saves me from having to take the subway.

So wait a second Spiderman punches Negus in the face twice. Then gets punched into some machinery and thats how he did better?

So you honestly think that Blade didn't hit Negus with the sword because the impact marker is gray?

Blade kicked him in the face once, then got choked slammed to the ground and choked out while Negus fought off Spidy... is that how he did better?

Spider-man hit Negus more, and was hit more in return; not to mention Negus was also vamped out, full on batface, while he was pummeling Spider-man, and just normal while he choked Blade out.

No he hit him with the sword, doesn't matter that its gray. There is a big splodge of grey where the sword hit him and you can see hes doubled over.

I don't think he hit him because there was no signs of damage of any sort to his suit or torso in any of the subsequent panels, the fact that the "impact marker" is translucent or that an impact marker for a sword slash is nonsensical in the first place is just extra.

There's also a gray impact marker drawn when Negus backhands Spidey.

I've seen characters get hit by sword and not show any slashing damage on clothing.

Impact markers are there to indicate that a person has been hit, you don't decide to reinterpet it because you want to downplay a character. He was also doubled over at the point of impact.

There is no damage to Negus, so unless Blade's sword connected with Negus' belt buckle or something, then he missed. The so called "double over" motion is merely him throwing his midsection back outside the path of the blade. AKA dodging.

If he wanted you to believe he hit him... he would have drawn it or evidence of it latter... that's what illustrators do...

Again people have been have recieved slashing damage and it has not shown up on their clothes before.

Maybe his suit heals like Spider-Mans does. Spider-Man's suit has huge holes in the shoulders and the next panel they were gone!!

Except that panel shows Spider-man getting hit, and the next panel shows him getting knocked across an alley from the momentum of said blow. A far cry from a partially obscured sword slash, and a comic that shows no signs of that attack of hitting it's mark.
