This is a great Idea. I though this same kinda thing with a pokemon game. Make it sandbox and let you do whatever you want instead of leading you on a linear path. Also stray from turn based abttle and make it more tekken style or something.

I swear I was just thinking the same thing you were thinking though. Hopefully somebody could push something like this.

why the face palm? You can sill customize your character, and I'm sure most people do. So not really effecting anyone but those who hate customizing.

Don't get me wrong, I customize my FemShep all the time. It's just that I'm gonna be seeing that eye sore on my boxart when I get the collector's edition.

Compared to #4, I disagree. #5 only won 'cause there's too many people in the world who are obsessed with blondes. That or Metroid fans joined in and voted her 'cause they thought she looked like Samus. Either way, delusional people helped her win.

Dood, already mentioned last page how I vastly prefer black hair. That does not change the fact Blonde Shepard is, as the majority decided, the best looking. Otherwise, a different Shepard would have won.
