Apparently you have to say things twice for Deadline to understand it.

Inconsistency is the name of the game, but just because you have a lower showing does not mean the higher showing never happened, which is the way you'd like it to be.

Correct. It's actually impossible that I simply don't agree with your opinion. I guess you're special anybody who doesnt agree with your opinion is either stupid or insincere.

Monitors got a huge conceptual boost in Final Crisis where it was shown they were transcendental beings, each one capable of becoming a reality eating monster like Mandrakk. Even a weak one (after consuming some of the Bleed) was able to defeat the Spectre and the Radiant.

I don't believe you, based on some of the things you've said your suspect. First of all just applying logic you can see your argument doesn't make any sense. The same argument your using for Superman could be applied to Silver Surfer and Thor, do people go around saying that Thor and Silver Surfer are transcendental? No they don't, because common sense tells you that high heralds sometimes have high showings and are able to do things that are usually far beyond their capability. You're taking high showings and acting like they're the norm.

There are 100 millions showings of Superman not being able to do shit when he needs to or needing help. Obvoulsy he doesn't display feats like the one you're mentioning all the time so clearly those type of feats are not going to outnumber lower ones. If he was really transcendental you wouldn't even need any other super heros. It like having a debate on the existance of the sun, the fact that were having this conversation is absurd.

Maybe you're right about the Monitors but I suspect you might not be telling me stuff and leaving shit out. According to another poster you left some important facts about Supermans fight with Blaze.

i dont see how limits and/or derivatives apply to the fact that half of infinity is still infinity

Because people are having a problem coming to grips with the fact that infinity is an abstract concept, not a number....

They're both pretty lame, but CA is a lot lamer. I'd rather be superman, of course.

Lifting the Infinite Book (Infinity divided by two is still Infinity 😉 ) for one.
So... could he do it on his own then?

And 👆

No you didn't. There is no such thing as half of infinity.... Jesus. Half indicates halving a perceived value half as much as something else. Can you show me what number half of infinity is? No? i didn't think so. You are trying to apply real world mechanics to to an abstract concept. It just doesn't work.

If the writer sat down and though about it, yeah. Why not?

Ultraman, who is considered his equal opposite number did it on his own.

but that's not really how we do this. alfred could do it if the writer sat down and thought about it.

Fine.
count from 1 to infinity. As far as you can go.Now count from 0 to infinity. As far as you can go.

Which number is bigger? 😉

Keep counting forever. There will still be more numbers. But if both are being counted at the same rate starting with 0 is bigger then starting with one.

Do both sides go on forever?Yes.Is one side still bigger then the other?Yes.Just because they both go forever does not mean one cannot be bigger.

I don't see how it matters how infinite the infinity is. Any degree of infinity is larger than any tangible number we can measure or observe in nature.

Oh so now you're lowballing Alfred?

Don't make me fly to Brazil to establish Patrick Swayze style diplomacy between my foot and your face. crackers

But one level of infinity can be high then another even if they are both infinite.

Galactus has infinite power. But thanos w/ IG has more infinite power

Infinite mass or weight?

And yes he did lift infinite weight. But only half of it.It can still be infinite but not as high of a level of infinity.
