It would not be a street level fight because Ryu is not a street leveler.
Current Ryu is on about on par with Akuma. A guy that has sunk large islands with his fist and is massively hypersonic.
Also, the fight would be extremely uninteresting to discuss.
Wolverine's attack method and fighting style is boring as hell, and Ryu only has a surefire means of victory if he keeps it long range. He could feasibly KO wolverine in close range, but Wolverine's durability is so erratic. If he gets the Wolverine that can take a few hits from Sabretooth without going down, Ryu can KO him. If he gets the Wolverine that can take a few hits from Hulk without going down, then Ryu dies very quickly in close range.
Highly uninteresting fight, even from a visual point of view.

I watched the video and yeah wolverine would have some trouble laying a finger or claw on ryu as fast as ryu is. the problem is I dont see how RYU would take down wolverine with his healing or adamantium. Honestly i think it would be stalemate. and how he warped around there for a sec took some time to start that. wolverine isnt gonna just stand there and let ryu concentrate on what he needs to do.
Adamantium won't make a difference, he fought Urien who has an enforced elemental body. And Gill can resurrect. Bison is pretty much immortal.
These characters can split the ocean, and blow up cities instantly. Wolverine is out of his league here, *unless* this is a weaker version of them. His highest showings have him breaking mountains and stuff, that's simply too much.
Elektra and Cap give Wolverine a good enough fight. Give Cap vastly superhuman stats with powerful projectiles and warping and Wolverine gets tossed.

Hulk can still ko Wolverine (like thing did with a hit). Ryu can hit up when amped to about that force with more precision. He has skill to. Koing Wolverine is within his power. Chun Li can kick through tanks, and Ryu hits harder than her.
Unless this was a weaker Ryu.
