Have a question.Didn't street fighter come out with a comic/manga?
Hence my point.
It depends on what level we use Ryu. In the Chinese manga, they were ripping holes through existence. DBZ stuff.
Mid level is still too powerful, but more reasonable, tank busting, extreme speed, strength, skill.
Lower level showings would be an "ok" match. That's all I was saying. I almost feel like this is a troll attempt. (not by you). The level should *always* be specified before a match for this reason.

Ryu's Fireballs are actually destructive in several ways rather than being simply concussive force (like Cyclops).Guess what? Cyclops has no problem beating Wolverine either.

Range and feats? Negative, depends on what you're using.
No way to confirm speed. Him pwning Wolverine doesn't even need it's best.
Ryu has many more options with his projectiles and can increase the size as well, and fire them airborne.
Cyclops would have a longer history to pull from, you know seeing as it's his primary weapon he's used for decades. He wouldn't stand a chance using them against people like Akuma and Bison.
Wolverine has no business messing with *anyone* on Akuma's level.

As I said before it depends on what you use. Ryu has fought and won over 10,000 battles and is a rival of Akuma and tied with him in a fight (Akuma would win here though), to be able to withstand Akuma to some degree speaks something. Ryu isn't much of a tournament fighter as he fights for the experience.
He's right under the Akuma, Oro, Gill, Shin Bison tier.
But hey, maybe I'm crazy. If anyone wants to make a thread about Ryu in his highest incarnations vs Wolverine be my guest. I know the result of it anyways. It will either be dead or me vs. Wolverine supporters. One in particular.

Well if they are ripping holes in dimensions (in the manga) then they shouldn't be pitted against wolvy. They should be fighting surfer if they are capable of doing things like that.
How durable are they and I don't mind you using anime but do you have the manga of them ripping through dimensions?
I really don't want to do SF honestly (right now). Akuma has the striking power, but lacks the flight and raw speed. He does have a few instant death moves so aside from best showings it will most likely not be in his favor unless he were to get a raging demon at the start.

Capcom vs SNK. You'll have to look it up.
SF is a bit different than the DBZ example. There are very many stories, endings, entries, etc. Like TMNT, so you have to really specify.
Lower level Ryu is your best bet.
"They" depends. Many characters have many levels of durability. But if you are unfamiliar with them it's best not to argue them, it will just turn into a high low thing.
I'd rather not do this thread anyways. I"ll get stuck with it as always repeating the same thing over and over. I'm also going to be gone more often especially when the weather clears up. I want a thread that more than "me" can participate in.
Kratos and Wonderwoman sounded good. Morrigan vs. Zatanna or something similar.
