Not necessarily.

There are some (I tend to gravitate toward this notion) that the Primal Monitor is just the Monitors' conception of the Presence, just as the Source is the New Gods' concept of the Presence.

but Entropy itself is just a self perpetuating cycle that must take place.

Entropy is Eternity's child,
and as such becomes Eternity when Eternity decides to allow that.

Entropy himself stated that had Eternity not wanted to die,
even bounding Eternity would not have happened.

Still though,
can't take away from Genis/Entropy who still had to wipe out all that space/time,
regardless if the parties affected were in compliance.

The LT has always been the same LT from it's conception.

Certain events/pre facts that took place concerning PR Beyonder were retconned,
but that's it.
