The Zom fragment that Strange had was just that... a fragment. It wasn't Zom's full power. CK just released Strange's hold over his own body

And Zom's full power was way ****ing above what we saw from that

Chaos King must've returned that piece because it was clear that was Zom and CK referenced him as Zom. Zom even brought up past fights involving Hulk and him. From the way it appeared, especially by the words Zom was saying (yes, that was Zom)...its possible Hulk was facing more than just a fraction of Zom power.

The Zom fragment almost controlled Strange too. It was Zom, but a very diminished Zom powerwise. Remove Strange and you get a severely diminished Zom, but without Strange's nobility.

If full power Zom was released, then he would have ****ed everything up all over the place.
