My favorites stopped working entirely. F-ing bugs.
Are you playing on the PC? If so why not just roll back the update, assuming that you downloaded 1.2.

yeah they really uglied up the elves this time around
The thing is that Elves in most myth are always slightly better looking than Humans, at least in an exotic alien-like way.

My favorites were never working 100% correctly, and other stuff is fixed since the recent update. So I'm a bit torn.
Bethesda released a 1.1 update, why not search for it? My reasoning is this. If you can somehow find, and download the 1.1 patch, you could roll back the 1.2 patch, install the 1.1 and see how that works for you. If its worse, you can always go back and reinstall the 1.2. 1.1 is working well on my platform, so it may be worth a shot?
There could be other things that are making your game work improperly. It may be a corrupt software copy, or you may have gotten an update for another software product on your rig, that is conflicting with Skyrim. If that's the case I feel your pain.

Such a good game.I'm level 29 now, I still can't play it that much cause my girlfriend plays it constantly, but it's so much fun.
I decided I will join the Legion, mostly cause Ulfric is an *******.
Shyt man I was thinking of doing the same thing, but then how would i get my hands on that nifty Helm that Ulric wants?

I'll give it a try, thanks.

Lydia.
The lady that you can get to join you in Dragonsreach? She literally just joined me last night, what can I do with her? Just give her my stuff? I'm hesitant to give my followers anything because I've had issues of going into a dungeon or another city and they are suddenly not there anymore.

There are so many better looking characters in the game that you cannot marry, I mean most of the female bards look decent and theres a couple around the game, one in markarath and others elseware that look better than those you can choose.
If you can't be, with the one you love..... 😄 😂

That happened to me with Faaendal or whatever he was called.
Companions are freaking useful. More as meat shields than as equals in damage output, but it's nice that they go to one knee before dying and the enemies generally ignore them and come for you. Gives me more time to dish out justice before getting swarmed.
Downside is they're stupid sometimes, and love getting in the way during combat. I think I've killed Lydia by accident more times than any bad guy has.

LoL. Companions are always useful. Same happens in Fallout.
