Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Except for Halo--they use 'hard' as the intended way.

I personally play the game on Master because dragons were simply becoming too easy for my tastes.

I can still comfortably take out most enemies, am virtually immune to all Draugr short of a Demonlord and a group of Scourges, but there are enemies that I have to use a little more tact when fighting, like a group of high-level mages, Dragon Priests, and some dragons as well.

So we still stuck with basic textures and stuff for mods? Or have some decent ones come out even though we're sans CK?

Mages are simple, just proof yourself against whatever they cast at you. With a little luck you may be able to find high end rings or necklaces that have elemental defenses. Certain classes (Nords) already have certain resistances so this should help loads.

Being mage is doubly difficult right now because resistances are broken in the recent patch.

Unoffical patch have fixed it though.

I look forward to how the integration of Steam Workshop into the modding community will work, while I at the same time wonder what exactly Bethesda's idea with it is.

Well the way I did it, was to find a piece of wall to use as cover, which there is usually if I recall and shoot them with spells or arrows or a combo of both. It takes some timing, especially on the ones that use lightning because its really fast. What one did you come up against, do you recall the name? Eventually you get them down if your patient with the above method though and if for some reason they come racing out to meet you, just run and find a new area to hide.

I cant honestly say I know how to face them at lower level as a warrior, sword against their spells so to speak but then, I have not tried very hard.

Currently I play my lvl 60 mage high elf but I have got a level 13 Orc warrior (two handed swords and heavy armour, Dwarven currently) and so next, ill play a Kahjit or however you spell it, bows, sneakery and the like for him.

No, I have no idea what his name was, unfortunately. I'll definitely try that next time though, hiding behind a rock or wall. I didn't even try it with this one because I just assumed would follow me behind the rock and fire off some arrows and spells at him, so thanks a lot.

Also...does anyone have a better idea for how to store the items you don't want with you and just want to be able to come back to later on? I had decided to use my room in the Winterhold College to store a lot of my dragon bones/scales, but I just went back there recently to put some more in and all of my original ones were gone. -.- Also, I don't have enough for a house yet.

I tried the same thing in my Companion room General G, same thing happened.

A house is sadly the only safe method that I know of.

Well, ice mages are no threat to me, being a Nord and having a necklace that gives me 40% cold resist, and potions can easily be added to that to make me immune.

But I've been ambushed by groups of fire mages which on occasion have proven troublesome, depending on location.

I am the opposite, ice is a great pain to me since although the initial attack does little damage, my mage health combined with the fact it slows you down, sometimes massively I can get killed if I am not careful. I use enchanted boots with 45% frost res on and the white philter of magic resistance to try and protect myself though so I usually come out on top.

That's a shame. Guess I gotta start saving some money now.

My favorites stopped working entirely. F-ing bugs.

So I am an imperial because I dunno the whole physical and magic blend was interesting plus I just like the whole Bioshock magic/sword wielding thing. Wonder if you guys got any tips for a Elder Scroll's noob who is an imperial.

Play the way you want to. Srsly.

There's not really a whole lot I can say.

Heavy armour is your friend, as are one-handed skills, alteration is good for bolstering defense, destruction good for supplementing your melee with a ranged game.

Go to Whiterun and buy a house.

Does anyone know if it is possible to name items that you enchant?

Has anyone lost the ability to store their weapons on the racks inside of their homes? They need a new update quick.

Yeah, it is.

No, but the mannequin in the Markath House does not display the armor you put on it, not unless you remove something you've put on it. Even then, it will not display the armor when you re-enter the house.

I'm playing on the PS3 platform. How do you name your items while you enchant them. Sorriez I just couldn't figure it out.

You press Triangle before you press Square to craft the item.

Cool stuff, Thanks.

Have you noticed how ugly the Dark Elves are in this game as opposed to all of the other ES games? I mean no matter how long I fiddled with the model creator in this game, I could not once make a fairly good looking Dark Elf and the male modeler are worse. I mean what's with the lumps on the foreheads? I think that the guys at Bethesda may be racist. Actually to be fair, all of the Elven races are ugly as shyt.
