We can't "prove" something that hasn't happened yet in that manner. We can only argue that under these circumstances this conclusion is the most likely to happen, or will always happen. Based on inference.
I think people are misunderstanding that.

I have never seen Thanos react that rapidly (the Runner decimating him is a prime example of him NOT doing so.) Furthermore, I have never seen him withstand the type of damage that would be dealt if Superman were to strike him millions of times in less than a second.
At any rate, I'm sure you'll reply with some sad attempt at trying to make your boy look better than he is.... So I'll just go ahead and end this discussion before it makes you look even worse.
