Because he already had another plan set in motion which just required stalling. It's storytelling most of the time and to create a sense of drama you need to create drama.

On the forum Ds can bfr DD ye in hp he acted like it wasn't even an option. It kills the story if he just easily bfr's him at any time.

I accept according to this writer Zoom hits harder. I also accept based on Superman's feat and his on panel actions against WW other writers like myself probably feel differently.

The fact that he hap no hope of reacting tells me he needed the gem to beat him but hey you have your opinion i have mine frankly im tired of going over this with you. Well you have your opinion but i disagree.

No, it isn't. It showed us the writer chose to create drama in this situation. He could have easily created shields right from the start with his same plan implemented but this creates no drama. I gave you the darkseid example which perfectly applies to hp while ignoring his powerset. It would completely undermine the hp scene if Ds just says I have had enough I will simply bfr him.

We've also seen him react to the Fallen One, easily slap down Ganymede who showed the skill to be all over the Surfer with one slap, reacted to the Surfer, showed the skill in Thanos(cosmic powers to decimate entire armies hand to hand), etc.

You can disagree with me all you want but don't act like I don't honestly try to present evidence as to persuade someone over to my line of thinking.

I don't just fart in every thread without evidence while muttering Thanos wins over and over again. I explain the how and why all the time.

So when something completely Kills your "Reacting to the surfer" argument it's creating drama? LOL a list of people who don't have nearly the combat speed zoom has.

He reacted to the Surfer on panel. The words used already prove it was done under his own reflexes.

I haven't seen anything from either Zoom or the Flash to even touch a feat which is over a trillion times the speed of light. Just saying. Most of their impressive feats were above the speed of light but nowhere near to this degree and even a few slightly below it.

I've already explained the difference between creating a sense of drama and fighting to the best of their abilities all the time in a story which we don't have to worry about here.

Using an extremely vague feat to try to make a case is extremely pathetic especially when it get's countered by a feat in which the guy probably isn't moving half as fast.

It wasn't vague they gave the distance and showed how quickly he traveled. you just don't want to accept it which is fine because you have already made your mind up an dare backtracking all through this thread on every stance you supposedly had.

Comics are inconsistent all the time Flash doesn't always move as fast as he has due to plot as well as it kills the plot if he beats everyone in a microsecond. This is all simple to me, anyways.

Fallen one is another Thanos reaction feat.

Surfer doesn't just miss either. Like with all the things he has done down to the nanosecond he just misses here. It makes no sense and we see Thanos spot him in the corner of his eye and he then moves.
