Cross Genre Match #21: Frieza vs Thanos

What we have accomidated from this thread is that thanos survived a partial planetary explosion and tanked it whereas frieza took 3 planetary explosions in one fight and was ok afterwards.

We also know that thanos have high end strength and so does frieza.

What we don't know is the level of thanos energy output. The highest that I have seen was during annihilation when he was angry and leveling building but we all know that blasts like that won't do a thing against frieza and he would literally walk through that sh** with a smirk on his face.

Then there is the speed debate. We don't have on thing showing that thanos could see, let alone hit frieza.

I gave frieza 7/10 but I can't think of one legit reason on how I am giving thanos a single win against someone that is FAR more powerful than him.

That's why I am asking the thanos crew to provide something instead of bashing and saying "no he didn't" because using common sense, this fight is a sromp in frieza favor.

Even though your post is true, what jinzin is saying that if a much weaker person could do something extraordinary than someone with a higher power level should be able to pull that feat with ease along with doing something "above" that since they are more powerful. Its just that simple... if roshi can react and move in nano seconds, since frieza speed is far greater, he should be able to do it even better. If you say "how much faster. Remember, during the tien vs goku fight (kid goku), goku had a power level of 180 and even though roshi had nano second feats, he was unable to follow gokus movements. That small difference gave an incredible speed boost.

If you brush off the tail bite I brush off roshi's nano second reactions.

Lol... but the tail bite wasn't a low showing for frieza since goku was ALMOST friezas equal. You gotta remember, during that tail bite incident, frieza was only using 1% of his power. I'm pretty sure a bite from supes would hurt thor since they are equals.

And I don't see why we should eliminate that speed feat when all in all, krillin got temporarily knocked out right afterwards.

speed, strength and other physical skills are not products of power level exclusively. burter was the fastest of the ginyu tokusentai even though he was roughly the same power level as the other members minus ginyu and guldo.

Dragonball used to be more about the humor as a reinterpritation of the Chinese novel "Journey to the West".

To take some of the humor seriously is to dishonor the spirit of the manga.

Burter was ONE of the fastest and from what I have seen, jeice and burta was pretty much equals when it came to speed.

Captain ginyu was much faster than him as well since he DID tag goku and both jeice and burta couldn't lay a finger on him.

I agree, he was faster than recoome but he also had a higher pl.

I do understand dragon ball... you just tend to discredit or try to take away any high end feat from them.

Krillin and roshi played around that entire fight, goku and tien played around in their fight but even though they played, that doesn't take away from what they did. They played because they were friends.

Better question is how doesn't he win 😐. Frieza = one trick pony Thanos = a skyfather level power house with tech that would put all of DBZ to shame. A simple mind blast followed by a two piece combo should do the trick.
