My thoughts on this match: we don't know how/if magic will effect Doc.

We do know with reasonable certainty that being exploded will...well...explode the wizards.

What can the wizards do to stop Doc from teleporting anywhere in the cosmos and multiplying himself?

Then once tens of him are realised they teleport onto Earth whilst many continue to multiply and unleash themselves onto the Earth population?
