Rianna-
Number one topic for the spacers currently is taxation. The Governor of Vorkuta is trying to impose stricter laws and higher taxes in order to expand and improve the colony. The locals may be thrilled but the spacers are rather pissed about it. Especially because that tax money is all being pumped into the Hunting Lodge right now.
Most of the spacers are in the marketplace buying fuel and parts. Some are buying illegal ship mods.
Dak-
Vorkuta has a semi-popular Hunting Lodge. It is part of the effort to expand the colony by clearing the dangerous wildlife out of the area beforehand, and also there is a wide variety of game to hunt in those jungles.
One of the hunting parties you talk to is getting ready to ship out with a man who simply calls himself The Captain. Apparently he's quite good at what he does. The hunters you speak with are all very heavily armed.

Refresh turn!
Tapping Focused Blow is a bit pointless, Xavier- he doesn't have any Armor or Parry that you're trying to punch through. However, you do roll two 6s to trigger its effects. He is Stunned! And takes 5 damage.
You don't break the kneecap but it obviously hurt him; his retaliation is pretty sad as he tries a series of punches at your center. You take 3 damage

The Pit
Patel (C8): 1/21 [MA FE] [FA]
Xavier (C9): 2(1A)/13 [MA DW FB] [FE SF AS] (5F)

Xavier swaps in AS for FB and taps it while Patel is stunned along with tapping MA
Xavier excutes a series of powers quicks and punches at his adversary. He starts with a throat shot then follows it with an elbow uppercut to the chin, followed by a downward stomp on his shin. As a final insult he takes both PAtel's arms and pulls him into a knee right into his chest plate.
When the new taxes will be starting and what laws they're trying to tighten up, and about this Hunting Lodge.
If anyone asks why she doesn't know anything about this, she's killing time while her employer finishes up a deal and they've never been to Vorkuta before. So they aren't sure if it's worth visiting again.
The new taxes are already in place! They are having difficulties turning a profit when a great whopping chunk of it goes into the Governor's vault. A few taxes are very obviously leveled at traders and smugglers- landing fees and purchasing fuel among them.
The laws mostly concern criminal activities and violence. The Governor is having trouble enforcing these, though. He is trying to recruit heavies to keep everyone in line with little success.
Back story noted, though it is Lying to really enforce it.
As for the Hunting Lodge... the spacers don't care too much about that, unless they are buying skins and trophies to resell in other parts of the Galaxy.

Xavier goes berserk!!
Tapping MA gives you +6 dice for a total of twelve on your attack, rolling four as you smash up Patel's face, then re-rolling for another four with Assault's tap when you pull him into your vicious kicks. Patel takes 12 damage from your display and staggers back.
He then unleashes a whirlwind kick, coming at you through the air and landing several with another Flying Attack tap. You take 9 damage.

2-4, Patel goes first!
When you try to headbutt him, he twists around and hooks a blow into your under arm area, tapping Martial Artist for extra dice and damage! You take 8 damage and stagger back before grabbing him and headbutting him. He takes 5 damage.
