STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Holocron

Started by Peach95 pages

Rianna will remain in cover where she is, using Saber Throw against the Warrior with 11 damage and spending a point on Ward if necessary.

I wanted to add one thing also. Xavier will not go past the rest of the group. That way he doesn't end up alone up front.

Waiting on Dak, then!

A Saber Throw for Dak as well, on one of the unhurt Warriors.

Initiative stays with you.

Rianna and Dak are well-suited for a Saber Throw- your schticks stop working when you perform it, but your naturally high pools mean you still get a solid ten dice on your throws. Dak beats Rianna by one success, pulling off seven to her six. Both score solid hits as the Warriors try batting your lightsabers away with little result.

Rand extends a hand forward and the ruins around him stir hesitantly... then shoot forward and crush three natives with tremendous power.

The probe takes a potshot at the last uninjured Warrior and inflicts some damage.

Galder isn't waiting around to see what happens. He strides forward with a Forward Guard tap. Eight successes is more than he needs for his Twirl, tossing in a fifth kill with Cleave, which he then also taps. He carves his way through five of the natives before having to defend himself.

Xavier moves up!

Galder's charge draws attention from the shooters. Galder loses nearly all his Cleave protection, and the Warriors descend on him as the closest threat. They are frustrated by a spend on Evade, meaning they can only hit on 6s with him. All but one miss! He whirls around and catches their blades with his superior sabers, then has to back-step as the third nearly clobbers him over the head.

Rand also receives extra effort to kill him after his continuous displays of power. Cover and Cleave make this laughable.

So two attacks on the rest, with an extra on Dak and the Probe Droid each! Without functioning defenses, Dak and Rianna take some mild hits (which cover saved from being much worse).

Dak's and Rianna's lightsabers are returned to them.

Xavier will move up and take point with Galder, attacking any of the natives that are close to him.

Waiting on Dak and Rianna!

Does Xavier want to make any taps? Is he going after the natives or their leaders? Things are at a dangerous point for the group, these are things that need to be thought about...

Going for one of the leaders and no taps this turn

Are you sure about that?

If we get initiative, Rianna is going to move up and attack two mooks, tapping Cleave and Riposte and using Ward.

If we don't, she's going to stay where she is and use Saber Throw again on one of the leaders - the one with 23 damage unless Xavier kills it, in which case the one with 13.

We are so screwed.

Bleeeeeh another saber throw, at the Warrior with 23.

Initiative is... yours!

Galder whips around and kicks the most-weakened Warrior across the face. It stumbles into the Probe's line of fire and disappears in a puff of ash.

Xavier tests his strength against another Warrior! He slams his lightsaber into its practice blade, causing a shower of sparks and inflicting 13 damage. While their blades are locked, Dak steals the kill by hurling his lightsaber into the Warrior's side.

Rand advances and Flings the last Warrior in the area up into a column by the entrance, cracking the stone.

Rianna comes in and takes apart two needle-gunners with her usual acrobatic grace. Not as many successes as she would have liked, though- only 6 points of Cleave protection are granted.

With the Warriors dismembered or holding on their superior's orders, only needle attacks coming in this round! Rianna gets some rather satisfying Ripostes when the natives try to shoot her at point-blank. Galder taps Dodge & Weave (having gone to melee this turn) and stays clear. Rand slips behind a toppled column and is untouched. Xavier weathers a hit for 3.

Dak actually only takes one attack, extras having gone to Rand and Galder. It misses!

Some of the issue here is the Psycho Brigade's reluctance to make taps! Being the fighters, you have plenty of schticks to blow into a fight. Don't be reluctant!

Xavier goes and attacks two of the mooks this turn.

Tap BGu and bring in OGu

That swap will have to happen next turn- swaps are at the start of your turn. Did you want to do a different swap in the mean time?

Rianna's going to head for cover, swapping OGu for FGu and Saber Throwing at the Warrior that's currently hit for 18. If we get initiative.

If we don't then she'll not swap, and instead chop down a mook.

Dak will Charge forward onto the Steps and tap Cleave on some mooks.

Schticks don't work with your Saber Throws, remember. Still going with that, Rianna?

Any others taps you want to put in to make that Cleave tap more effective, Dak?

...forgot about that. Cancel the swap, then.

Still want to swap out something inactive?

Swap in FGu and tap it too!

*ahem*
