We did, I couldn't remember if it was actually real or not. Back when I had that Picard pic as my avatar; was the one before this one; I do miss it.

Seems like some nonsense that would have happened in TNG with "proper protocols" in dealing with a new contact.

I could definitely have handled that.

There were so many classic episodes left unmade:

"Ensign Ro has a transporter accident that leaves her uniform phased out of time."

"Ensign Wesley Crusher is sent to the surface of Vagra 2, and on the way he encounters a temporal anomaly/causality loop where he is killed over and over again in thousands of different and extremely painful ways by Armus.
The only way to save everybody on the Enterprise is to choose one of these deaths as his own final one."

"An Tachyon field incident in Ten Forward causes flashbacks that shows the history of Guinan and the Q continuum and their past relationship."

the history of guinan would be a three parter. She's been alive a long time, lots of stuff to cover.
