Were it a comic (and we had a scan in front of us that defies the laws of physics), then I agree, suspension of disbelief is pretty damn well required. But this isn't a comic book. This is a VS forum debate.
but we base FORUM DEBATES not only off logic but FEATS. not JUST logic, why? because it breaks down so often. and if writers can't agree, the feats defy the logic. you're taking things to an unreasonable extreme, naturally. talking about something as common sensical as gravity being ignored is ludicrous. that is common sense and all writers will follow it. you're talking about a writer knowing how fast and long it would take for a bullet to travel a certain distance. it may seem to make sense but if in one issue a bullet travelled faster and further than it could LOGICALLY, you're logic is dismissed in favor of on-panel evidence.
don't get me wrong--i'm not saying logic can't EVER be used, and you're welcome to your argument. it's just not one i'd put much stock in in this particular instance.

I mean, comics, as a rule, take a dump on logic as we use it, so trying to use real world logic or even comic book logic, which can vary wildly depending on creators, is something that shouldn't decide debates (though it does have its place at times). I would say on-panel evidence trumps pretty much everything else, barring PIS (provided it's actually PIS and can be shown as such instead of something that just isn't liked).

Ok, good call dropping the omniblast.argument, because it was flawed. Havock ffing then flying then shooting blasts is better. But STILL fatally flawed. One, Ds has used his staff to fly twice. Once just blasting it downward to gain altitude and blasting it again over and over to keep altitude, control projectory and to slow decent. Basically like jet propulsion. Another time friggin helicopter blades came out the end. He's used a backpack heli before but i don't know if it's normal equip. Starfire's blasts are describedly faster than sound and DS has literally moved around them like they were standing still. Something SF said kidflash can't do.
Ds chasing Havok in mid-air. This would be the worst tactic he could do and something i don't see him doing specially when he sees Havok jetting out in a flash, going mid-air will likely make him a big target and defenseless.. The likely scenario would be for him to take ground level and take out Alex, his only best chance is to use the same strat. he used in taking down Starfire; pick him out in a distant unaware..

I didn't say that was the strat i just said he could have options. In fact, i was pretty clear about him losing a draw out battle. It's the fact he can kill him before he does any of this. it doesn't matter if he can turn into god himself because if it takes time to do it he'd be dead before he does it.

Why?
Bullet to the brain? In a quick draw, Havoc can just raise a FF you know. He certainly has enough time to do so due to the range.
Staff blast? The range of the staff is questionable.
Depends on the distance and what reaches first. I'm assuming Deathstroke is fast or faster than Alex in quickdraws but Alex attack travels way faster and covers more distance. Also bullets might get incinerated before they even hit alex since current Alex is a bit of trigger-happy bastard.
I'd go for split since bullets might or might not be able get through.
