Just look at how he treated Diana after she killed Lord to save her life and keep him from becoming a killer. Let alone what all else Max could've done with Superman under his complete control. Or how he's talked down to Bruce or Ollie despite the numerous times they've saved his life or others or proven theirselves to be capable heroes despite their lack of powers.
I remember one story where he gave Bruce this long lecture on why he shouldn't be hiding behind a mask and letting his friends know who he is, but how is what he does any different besides the fact that not all imperfect humans have the luxury of completely negating all observation logic reason and common sense in order to hide their identity without any effort at all. By the end of the story it turned out they were dealing with a white martian impersonator of Bruce Wayne and if the other heroes Batman had enlisted to help had known the martain would have known instantly their plan and be able to beat them all. Thus proving that there is a reason to keep secrets and do questionable things at times.
The world just isn't as black and white and good always finds a way for the rest of us as Superman wants to say it is. Even if his luck always seems to have it able to work out for him.

I think Bruce is the biggest douch in comics, considering he's a hero. Villains by nature should be douches, so Lex, Darkseid or Doom don't count. I can't get over Blue Beetles death, The Killing Joke and Jason Todd's death.

Superman has to be the biggest dick....especially on his 90s cartoon and the 2000s Justice league show. He wined and bitched and moaned and bossed and talked down to everyone.
In the episode with Shazam/captain marvel he acted like a jealous little girl when Marvel was around. I am glad marvel took the fight to him!!!!!!

Superman is a dick ok people? but reed richards and stark are much much worse and top the list. their self-righteous, judgemental, pompous, know-it-all, pedantic dickery is off the charts
luthor and doom are by far the most arrogant and narcisistic ones, but they are down right delluded and evil, which, IMO, hinders the use of the concept to describe them.

I was going to kind agree with Omega Vision but that reminded me of what happened at the beginning of Infinite Crisis. Wonder Woman saves his life no thank you justs gives her a lecture. Still not as bad as Lex but thats god damn annoying.

And Batman would screw anyone he call friends just for his benefit. Have you see the shits Batman has done to the JLA. Hell the man created the OMAC project to spy on all meta, because he doesn't trust them. He even went so far that he has a list of all the JLA weakness, and because of his stupidity, it fell in enemies hands.
