Now all we need is for Superman to slap Lois, and accidentally snaps her neck, and thus we have or next crisis.
If only that happened.
They should like say "**** it!" and experiment with different things like having a villain expose Superman's secret identity and/or have them kidnap/kill Lois or some shit that will shake the mythos. Supes needs something to make people go "Ok now...that I didn't see coming"

The thing is, the writers are mostly afraid of doing something like that. Pretty sure if in the back of there mind.
That's also why elseworld exist, and one of Superman best pairing was him and Diana.
I don't see why DC would or should change Superman just for the sake of changing him. He's basically their rock, their anchor.
And though I know there are lots of butthurt haters who want to avoid admitting this, he IS the single most important character in DC Comics, arguably in comics in general.
When someone says 'Superhero' I think of Superman smiling in his classic red and blue costume with his old fashioned haircut.
You can explore a character without seriously altering the status quo, its called being good at writing and not relying on gimmicks and WHAM!! moments to write a story or character.

Could you please specify exactly which of my facts aren't straight enough for you so I can clarify?
Pretty much your entire paragraph, tbh. And that's not intended to be bitchy.
He's not holier than thou. to write him as such would be out of character. if anything, superman is humble to a fault, and doesn't condescend to anyone. he stands up to villains and tells them to back down, but that's different.
to portray superman as being "holier than thou" is blatantly inaccurate.
bruce was worse to diana than clark was. clark actually had doubts about it all, as lois agreed with what diana did. and it was even clark that brought them together to reform the jla, and put it all behind them.

Superman's relationship with Lois is head and shoulders better than 90% of superhero marriages IMO.
and she's still a *****.

I love and hate the Batman vs Superman fight from For Tomorrow. On the one hand its probably one of the few honest depictions of how a real fight between them should go (Batman basically being all but useless against Clark's speed) while on the other it was one of the worst OOC moments for Batman in recent years. Him trying to go straight melee with a guy he knows can dodge all his attacks and who thanks to his durability really doesn't need to dodge them anyway was just retarded.
When did they fight in For Tomorrow?

When did they fight in For Tomorrow?
As I recall the "fight" consisted of Batman popping in and asking "what do you think you're doing?"
I think Superman replied. "Making your job look easy." Batman then tried to kick him, Superman dodged, and this repeated itself for a few times while Batman generally looked like a dumb kid throwing a tantrum. Superman warned him toward the end that if he kept it up he'd stop dodging and let Batman hit him and break every bone in his arm.
This is all from memory though, its been a while.
Edit: Damn it, Phil. uhuh

Ah. You didn't like that Bruce lashed out?
Bruce lashing out is fine. But Bruce trying to punch Superman when he probably knows damn well its a futile gesture that can only end with him either tiring himself out punching empty air or breaking his hand punching something harder than steel is OOC to me.
Batman should be a lot more collected and rational than that even when he's pissed.
Besides, Batwords have on occasion proved stronger than Batpunches anyway. 😛

lol. sure, i guess.
1- Tony Stark: For being part of the Illuminati and choosing to send Hulk in space, unlike Namor and Charles Xavier, for hiding an infinity gem, for cloning Thor, for being a prime ******* during Civil War. He's not only a dick, he's an *******, and all the ass kicking he received in the past few years are completly legit. (I'm thinking of the ones given by Thor and by Hulk)
2- Reed Richards: All the things Stark did, Richards did too. Plus, he constructed the prison in the negative zone, during Civil War, and is a terrible husband.
3- Bruce Wayne: For having a plan on "How to murder my hommies if I have to", for being too soft on the Joker (I'm not for the Death Penality, but, I mean, c'mon!), for being a pompous jerks.
4- Superman: For all the comments above.
5- Black Panther: For having a cure for cancer, and not sharing it.
