Wait a minute, I just recognize something. Is it a joke that Banner and Superman is on that list? What instances were Superman or Banner being a dick?

You have GOT to be playing.

Superman acts like a dick every time he tries to impose his black and white morality in a world of grey. As for Banner I remember back when he was trying to train Skaar to kill the Hulk, the way he used Wolverine, Daken, and Juggernaut could be considered dickish. The only time I really remember Pym being a dick is when he hit his wife, most of the time he is just playing along with whatever Stark and Richards tell him.

To be fair I think mood altering drugs were changing his personality (Pym).

Can you cite some actual instances of this rather than just making blanket statements?

And Tony Stark and Reed Richards racked up more dick points in Civil War alone than Superman has in his entire Post Crisis career.

Infinite Crisis, possibly Time and Time again.

So it's okay for Batman to screw over the people he calls friends.

He didnt screw them over he was suspicious and had every reason to. Sometimes suspicion doesn't even come into it, he was making precautions just in case (one of them gets mindcontrolled or goes mad).

Tbh, that wasn't just Superman with Sacrifice, that seemed to be the whole fraternity of heroes criticizing Wondy for killing Lord. I thought it was kind of naive and overly idealistic of them, to criticize her decision given the circumstances.

I don't think it falls into Superman's average portrayals at all, because he'd already shown with Doomsday that he's also willing to kill as a last resort.

Personally if I lived in a world where people like Superman and Martian Manhunter existed--people who if they went bad could **** the world apart without breaking a sweat--I'd be thankful for a person like Batman devising contingency plans.

In a perfect world Batman wouldn't need to go behind his friends' backs like that, but even at its most idyllic DC still isn't a perfect world.

Yeah that was a rather dumb moment in an otherwise great story.

Still doesn't top Reed Richards exiling dissidents to the Negative Zone during Civil War 😛

Yeah, given the types of cosmic threats out there, contingencies are a must, you never know who'll be mind controlled or influenced.

The only problem I have with Bats being the one with the contingencies is that...he's only one, it seems, with the contingencies. I think each hero, should have personal contingencies for themselves and even for their team mates in turn.

other than petty street villains, I wouldn't really term any villain as a dick. Just doesn't seem right.

Reed is a dick. Pym is not a dick, he's too much of an underdog character to be a dick, and is currently too awesome and high minded to be a dick.

Unless his slapping his wife. 😛

It's funny how Reed Richards has also slapped his wife and doesn't get nearly as much shit as Pym.

And yes, I know there's context, but then there was context to the Pym incident too.

sometime bitches just need to be reminded of their place 😉

nah jk, I don't read a bunch but Banner was a total pompous dick when he was in human mode.

Now all we need is for Superman to slap Lois, and accidentally snaps her neck, and thus we have or next crisis.

And with Superman as the dick we know he can be, blames it all on Luthor.

Superman's relationship with Lois is head and shoulders better than 90% of superhero marriages IMO.

I know that, i just got tired of her character.

Do i hate her character? Not really. Do i want her dead, and give Superman someone that could actually kick his ass, someone that doesn't get kidnapped in every issue? Hell yes.

And Batman would screw anyone he call friends just for his benefit. Have you see the shits Batman has done to the JLA. Hell the man created the OMAC project to spy on all meta, because he doesn't trust them. He even went so far that he has a list of all the JLA weakness, and because of his stupidity, it fell in enemies hands.

See I didn't know all that about him. Dosen't make him a dick makes him cautious 😆

I've always found Stark a complete dick, even way before Civil War, anyone remember Armor Wars?

He disabled the Guardsmen's armor at the Vault which allowed a bunch of Super Criminals to escape just because they had his stolen tech incorporated into them.

I loved it when Thor put him in his place, way overdue!
