I believe in my review, that's exactly what I termed it: Self-parody. And, yeah, we are agree on this film quite a bit. I would say that it's a must see for any Scream franchise fans and slasher horror fans, but not a must see for anyone, really.

My favourite part of the movie was that in the Scream universe Robert Rodriguez directs the "Stab" movies. Sorry Wes, but would much rather see that movie.

I am planning to watch this movie! Do I need to watch the prequels to enjoy this?

This could be a bit late and you might have seen it already but, you don't have to see the previous trilogy.

Just need to know that they thought it was all over, Dewey and Gale got married and this is 10 years after the first film.

Has anyone seen it yet?
Everyone I know thinks it sucked but I actually thought it was pretty good... And CERTAINLY better than number 3! I mean wow, that film was just... wow.

Let me know thoughts about the 4th please!

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, and it is a damn sight better than number 3.

It's best to see the first three, stupid to watch the 4th without them.

.

I haven't seen it yet. Is it worth it? My favorite is still the first. The other two were alright. But no onw around me has gone to see it so I can't get anyone's advice..

The first is still my fav too, but 4 is pretty entertaining and smart for a horror movie. Not worth 11 bucks, though.

It was essentially a worse version of Dark City stretched into three films?

I enjoyed Scream 4, my only problem is that the threater was packed with noisy teenagers. I'd recommend seeing it on a school night or weekday matinee.

Dark City is gold and much better than Matrix.

might be seeing this again tomorrow night hmm
