Scribe Kevin Williamson told MTV News he's busy finishing up the script for the fourth SCREAM film and a fifth one is already being planned which he's signed to write. "The fourth one is an ensemble. It'll take place right now, 10 years later, and it's going to take place in [Sidney Prescott's hometown of] Woodsboro. We'll have our three main characters, and we'll be introducing several more" says Williamson.

He adds that those 'several more' will essentially be the stars of this new trilogy - "We'll also be introducing a little group, a little ensemble of new castmembers. That'll take us through the next three." Stars Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are all set to return and Wes Craven has expressed interest but hasn't committed as yet.

I hope this film is good, I have a good feeling about it. I'll likely go see it when it hits theaters.

Neve Campbell said she's "pretty sure at this stage that Wes Craven is back on board to direct" a fourth SCREAM. The actress also briefly brought up her co-stars, David Arquette and Courteney Cox, from the original trilogy - "I haven't spoken to them in a while. I'm sure it took a while to convince them to take part, especially because they're now a very happy family, and of course, it was a long journey for them. I think it's going to be a lot of fun, and a lot like going back to summer camp." She admits however she hasn't seen a script yet - "No. Not yet. They had to wait for us all to sign on. I suppose that’s the way these days." Shooting is apparently slated to start in mid-April.

I thought Scream 2 was actually pretty good

I adore the whole trilogy, the sequels don't come close to the first film though. Happy how the trilogy ended, that's one reason I hope the rumoured killing of Sidney turns out to be false.

It's Halloween Resurrection all over again.

The identity of the killers were terrible. I love the first movie though.
