So its finally back up, had to play Mortal Kombat 2 all day cause I let my friend borrow my MK9, so now im sitting here, PSN is back up, and I can't play. That is just great lol.

Sony Reveals its "Welcome Back" Content
Get ready for a generous selection of freebies.

The PlayStation Network is back, but the PlayStation Store isn't. And while we don't yet have a firm date as to when we can expect the Store's return, we do have some good news about what you can expect when the Store does come back.

Initially leaked via the European PlayStation Blog's RSS feed, and later confirmed by the American PlayStation Blog, Sony's "Welcome Back" program is set to be quite generous. When the PlayStation Store finally comes back to the PlayStation Network, here's what existing members (as of April 20th) can acquire. For full details, be sure to visit the Blog.

Gamers can select two of the five following PlayStation 3 games:

Dead Nation
Infamous
LittleBigPlanet
Super Stardust HD
WipeOut HD + Fury

Those with PSPs can also cop two of four following PSP games:

LittleBigPlanet PSP
ModNation Racers PSP
Pursuit Force
Killzone Liberation

Additionally, the PlayStation faithful can look forward to the following:

"A selection of 'On Us' rental movie titles" for use on a single weekend. The weekend in question and the titles available have yet to be determined.
Non-PlayStation Plus subscribers get 30 free days of PlayStation Plus.
Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers get 60 free days of PlayStation Plus.

Keep in mind that, according to the original European RSS post, Australian and European gamers are going to get Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty in lieu of Super Stardust HD.

I'm not expecting InFamous 2 or something but something more current would of been appreciative.

Infamous is amazing, FA. It's a "choose your own adventure" sandbox game with amazing story and graphics. LBP is fun a hell, but I just don't have the patience or skills to create some of the levels these other people are making. It's amazing the shit that they make!

Sadly, Sony has no legal obligation to give anyone anything (maybe refunds to PSN+ subscribers)

If you feel truly affected for the credit card number theft, you can always sue them, I guess

If not, that is all we get 😐

IIRC, Live was only taken down for a couple days due to some maintenance, which was apparently before my time of having either system, since I never had to deal with it. But that's really nothing compared to having another network being taken down around a month due to hackers.. 😬 I wouldn't of even expected a free arcade game from MS of any kind for having to live two days without Live. Seemed like an unnecessary bribe to get them to forgive you over such a minor inconvenience if you ask me. Sony's free gifts though, were much more reasonable, given the circumstances...

It's just that...the Store is still not up. I wish it would come up because I want to play inFAMOUS super bad...but I don't want to purchase it. WEEEE!
