Assassin's Creed: Revelations

So I got this game for Christmas, but didn't really start playing it untill now.

The singleplayer is so far okay, interested in seeing where it will go.

The multiplayer, is a mixed bag. I felt it did a very poor job of explaining the changes (Death math was a mystery to me for hours until I Googled it and read that you don't have dopplegangers, with that piece of info, I'm now constantly in the top 3 slots).

Also, how do "Dares" work? It keep saying stuff like "You beat Silver Stardusts Dare of so and so many points in such and such mode", is that something you set up, or is it simply your highscore at that mode/map?

It's just the high scores of your friends in various modes.

Also, haha, what mode do I have a higher score than GK in? 😂

I really just stick to Wanted. Not a big fan of the other modes. Artifact Assault in particular I really disliked.

Oh, what a lovely typo in my previous post, I wrote Death Math rather than Death Match. Hmm, come to think of it, I'd love to play a Death Math mode.

My favorite from AC:Brotherhood was Assassination and Advanced Wanted, however Death Match is currently growing on me. As for Artifact thingy, not tried it yet.

As for your highscore I beat, might I have gotten such a message if I beat your HS, but not GKs? As in; you aren't the highest scoring of my friends, but the highest scoring of my friends whom I did score more than.

Death Math sounds fun.

And haha, I've completely ignored the dare thing, I thought it just showed the friend with the highest score...then again, thinking of it, last time I was on none of my friends (except GK) had a higher score than me in any mode I've played.

Skip Artifact Assault. Just do yourself a favor and skip it. Full of running idiots sprinting from one end of the map to another and roofing non-stop.

Deatmatch is interesting, but I'm iffy on it. I've played a few matches, and I've found that there's basically no middle ground, people will either be really good, or really bad.

Wanted remains my favorite, so that's what I stay with 95% of the time, since I like to actually enjoy the game 😛

I've now played around a bit in the different game modes, and I must say, Assassinate is still the best mode. I also find Wanted to have grown very boring, I remember I loved it at first, but now that I'm pretty decently skilled in the game, it is just annoying. It is too easy, which again makes everything too boring for me to play. Assassinate is also pretty easy, but I feel there's more of a challenge there.

Also, I'm enjoying the singleplayer a lot more now than I did earlier, love the Altaïr sections.

EDIT: Oh, I also think I am at the top of my friendslist for the "Overall" performance, you and GK better toughen up 😛

I haven't even touched it in like a month!

Sorry, Morridini. Overall I'm 2 points ahead of you.

Weirdly enough on mine, GK is ahead by 1 point.

Odd, on my screen it says I have a score of 113 overall, and you 102, so I am 11 ahead of you.

I think it's probably out of everyone on your friend list, so since different people have different friends playing, everyone's standings will be different.

If that makes sense.

Ah right it does.

It give you 10 points (or so) for being the one out of sall your friends with the highest score in a specific game mode. So it would abvously depend on how many/good friends you have.

At the moment my overall goes as;
Me 113
Another Friend 103
GK 102

But in this case, Overall is completely worthless, it doesn't allow us to do any interesting comparisons.

My Overall list has me at 118, and you at 116.

I think it's cheating to count modes we haven't both participated in, though, like Simple Deathmatch and Chest Capture. In just the ones we've both played, it's... 98 to 96. Hah, the same difference! No cheating, I guess. 😛

How the hell did you get so many points in the Introductory Sessions, though?

On my list is has you guys at 103 and 102 (GK ahead by one).

Also curious how you got so many in the introductory sessions, the game kinda prevents you from doing too well in them 😛

Hmmm, how did I get that high a score in the introductory ones?

I wonder, maybe it's because I didn't do exactly as told. I remember I stunned when I should have hid, and got a second attempt at hiding, but still kept my score from the stun, I think. Or something like that.

Beat you in both. 😄

I just did what it said to do to get through it as fast as possible. Waste of my time, really 😛

I remember being annoyed at part in one of them though, because the target always ran no matter what you did. Pissed me off.

I've taught you well, my apprentice.

Hah, I managed to beat you in one of them, and the other you only have a 50 point lead.

Also, good luck beating my Simple Deathmatch score 😄

On my leaderboard GK has like a full 25 point lead now 😂

Because of all the big games that came out last year, I am finally getting around to playing the multiplayer on this game and so far it's a lot of fun. I think I still prefer Brotherhood's, but this is still a lot of fun and very addicting.

I am just having one single issue that I don't understand. I didn't have it in Brotherhood but it's become a huge game-breaking issue for me here. The issue: I can't run. At all. Each match starts out alright, where I can run for a good amount of time, but then I can't run anymore. Like I'll try and run, but while my character is runnning, he/she will randomly stop and go again. I'm not lifting my fingers at all, either. My character just decides to stop for a brief second (totally interrupting the run) and then go again.

I seem to be only able to run for about 3 seconds before my characters do this. It got to the point last night where I honest to God could not even walk anymore without my character glitching back.

Could this be my internet connection? I thought I had a decent connection and have no issues in any other game. I don't know what to do, so any help would be fantastic.

ACR is notably more glitchy than ACB. Unbearably so for some players more than others, mine had a similar issue randomly appearing on certain matches or days.

Not sure but it could be that the people with a worse connection get the games glitches more often. All I can suggest is trying again another day, getting a better connection or wai for AC3 to come out.
