Not sure but it could be that the people with a worse connection get the games glitches more often. All I can suggest is trying again another day, getting a better connection or wai for AC3 to come out.

I've noticed that as well. I had zero issues with ACB's multiplayer. If this continues on, it'll be a gamebreaking issue for me, unfortunately and I'll have to wait for AC3.

Thank you for your response, but I know for sure my connection is better than someone I often play with and he can run just fine while we play. I'm gonna try again possibly tonight or tomorrow night and if persists, I'll have to wait for AC3.

i want to get this game but i got a question, first of all i played assassins creed 1 and i played brotherhood, i cant find 2 for some reason but nevermind that, what i really want to know is this, are you assassinating targets like in assassins creed 1? or is it more about side missions and overall story like brotherhood? i know that in brotherhood you also had assassinations however in assassins creed 1 i really felt like an assassin, you got a name, you went to the city searched info on the guy and then went to take him out that was really bad ass, in brotherhood you had here and there some assassination to sum up the chapter however they didnt really felt like assassinations more like get ot point A and just stub the character, how is revelations compared to the others in this department? do you get to assassinate people or are you doing more of side missions like save that guy and defend this guy and go to that boat and bring apples or what ever?

I'm perpetually about 4 months behind the rest of you, but I started playing this today. Should be fun. I'm already wary of tower defense happening too often, but my lone foray with it was tolerable.

I also learned from AC:B...I'm buying all shops right away. Easy riches long-term.

Well, my fears with tower defense were unjustified. I haven't had to do it a single time after the "tutorial" on it.

My main gripe is that there's SO much little stuff to do that feels like filler. Some is good, but very little adds to the sense of drama in the main story. Other stuff - like the Meditreranean Defense minigame - is unabashedly pointless in the grand scheme of things. Useful only for leveling assassins. Taking over everything gets you...an achievement, and absolutely nothing else worthwhile. My guess is that you could race through the main storyline in a ridiculously short time.

I'm doing most but not all of the side stuff, so progress is steady but slow. I'm about 70% of the way through.

Other gripes: pathing is occasionally spotty, but nothing new there. Every now and then Ezio jumps off a building in a direction I completely didn't intend or push on the controller, and it generally leads to some sort of minor disaster.

Desmond's memory stuff is actually a nice change of pace. Nothing revolutionary - just some puzzle rooms with a narrative. But fun and different.

I remain engaged, both in the story and gameplay. The bombs, while another non-essential minigame, also provide some variety to fights. And once you learn to use your bombs, abilities, weapons, and assassins together, Ezio is a legit badass, able to simply wade into indeterminate amounts of baddies and take them out quickly without breaking a sweat.

Finished this today. The above comments - good and bad - still apply. Here's hoping they remove the "kingdom defense" aspect of it entirely. Tedious micromanagement, good only for some extra income. Assassins that aid you should "level" from in-game missions, of which they only had a handful.

Armor and weapons were also pointless once you got the Master Assassin gear and Yusif's blade. I was maxed out less than halfway through the game, which is dumb if you're going to continually introduce new items.

Story continues to be cool. Ezio had a good sendoff. The last couple sequences were intense, varied, and interesting. They probably shot themselves in the foot with the ending of AC2. The shock value and implications were nuts. Nothing they did in AC:B or AC:R was going to compete.

I haven't touched multiplayer - screw it. I'm excited for AC3 though, but I may not get it until Christmas.
