Preview for my buddy, PR! Looks bad ass, IMO.

Has anyone dropped any titles as of yet (or picked up any new ones)?

I'm down to reading AC and JL.

I haven't technically dropped any books yet, but I do take longer to catch up on some books rather than others.

^^ I thought you read JL Dark? Art looks phenomenal here.

I'm only reading it now because it currently ties-in to I Vampire. Once it stops doing so, I won't continue reading.

Even with Lemire? Animal Man is one of the best titles out there.

Just not my cup of tea.

I followed Animal Man for a few months, but it's just too bizarre for me.

Just finished Justice League. I actually thought that this most Recent Issue (#7) was my favorite. For some reason I like Downtime in Hero Groups. I guess maybe because its where most of the Character development comes from?

Still have yet to read I, Vampire. What makes it stand out exactly, Galan? I've never read it before.

For me it's just a very well written/beautifully illustrated horror book--which is a genre that appeals to me anyway.

Tbh, if you're not into the Vampire mythos, then you probably won't like it. However, if you enjoy a good horror/action/Vamp comic, then imo it's hard to not enjoy it.

Gotcha. Thanks.

You're still reading everything?

Even Firestorm?

I didn't read everything from the start; I'd say there are about a dozen books I really want to catch up on. The rest i just tend not to care.

Firestorm got a new writer. Don't knock it until you try it.

has firestorm improved at all?

I, Vampire and the Justice League Dark tie-in were excellent. Best issue(s) of the series so far, imo.

I was very glad to see that Andrew

Spoiler:
isn't dead, but is in a limbo zone waiting to be resurrected.

I'm not reading the spoilers, because I haven't read it, but I can comment on Aquaman.

The OTHERS were fantastic so far. Too bad the masked lady

Spoiler:
died

Aquaman was quality, and I'm looking forward to the next issue already.

Do you think she is dead? I hope not, because she was the shiiit!

I think so, given what happened and was said in the last few pages.

Ah, come on. She had 2 unique types of power, a cool look, and sword and she DIES the first issue?

Maybe she'll turn into mist and heal again. 🙂

Green Lantern NG was good, glad they didn't waterdown Invictus in this showing. 🙂

Also read through half of Justice League Dark, almost got it but didn't. It's picking up so I might buy the next one.

Glad to hear I Vampire is doing good.

Alan's costume doesn't look bad. He should still rock the purple cape, though. Way better than Jay's, though.

Alan Scott really is the big guy of Earth-Two. Quite literally. He's very tall, he's dynamic, he's charismatic and he's also the bravest, most gallant man on the planet. He's like the great knight defending the Earth. He would die for his planet, he would die for his people. He is the epitome of what a hero should be. And I think even if he wasn't that way when he first began in the 1940s, he is kind of evolved to that in terms of his place in the Justice Society. I have always felt that he was that character and I have tried to keep that spirit and element of him alive.
