Felix Faust looks cool.

"The fun I'm having with him is that you never really get to see him do a whole lot of magic — to the point where you start to question, does he really have any magic ability or is he just the world's greatest con man?" Lemire says. "He's always getting everyone else to do what needs to be done. That's his real power: the power of persuasion."

Constantine ftw. 😮‍💨

lol if it was Tim Drake, legions of his fan-girls would flip shit.

Or continue writing their Dick/Tim slash fan fiction anyway.

the dude has fan-girls? why is it always the awkward virgins that get the girls, rather than the character you know, knows how to please a woman?

Dude, check out Deviant Art sometime and you'll see some of the horrors of the internet made reality.

But yeah, Tim is the most popular Batfamily character among most chicks who read comics. Don't know why, but it probably because he's the "most sensitive" or whatever.

Don't you remember when you tried to make an DC rp, and that one chick was gasming over Tim and wanted to ship him with beastboy? And had him and Batman be all warm family 'I love you daddy"?

I've seen some of it, sadly. I just didn't go looking for it... 🙁

Oh god... I do remember that... It's coming full circle.

I do remember how I had Nightwing go "**** y'all" though, that was funny.

Anyone reading Savage Hawkman? Wondering if I should invest, love the character.

Fury of Firestorm is Terrible, right? I recall a bunch of people saying it was really bad.

I can assure you this never happens... At least not in real life.

yeah. you'd think art would imitate life in this instance.

maybe its that whole "they get to mould him" crap.

Apparently, this character who will come out of the closest is important enough to be labeled "iconic".

Barry Allen.

People would freak the **** out of it was Kyle Rayner, though.

If it's Superman or Aquaman, I'm going to f*cking murder someone.

I doubt its going to be superman or aquaman.

Wally West, they finally have a reason to use him.

It has to be Aquaman. It's sure it's him.

The Goddamn Batman would be an interesting twist.

I know; I just don't like the absolute outside chance of it happening.

Honestly, though, my bet is that it's one of the JSA. Or Cyborg.

Shouldn't be Barry because he's got to spawn new speedsters.

Kyle's a pimp, so it damn well shouldn't be him.

Maybe it's not a guy? Maybe it's Wonder Woman mhmm

It has to be someone they're "Bringing Back."

So that means it's someone that hasn't been seen since the reboot. God I hope it's not Wally. My guess would be someone in the JSA.

I wonder how many of the gay community read comics in the first place? As they often cave pretty quick to that demographic. If it's a mainstay character like the big 7 that all have established serious heterosexual relationship then I call it silly. Just feels forced.

Guess we will wait and see.

All of my friends who read comics are, in fact, gay. Doesn't excuse the nonsense of taking a pre established straight character and changing it completely. Even my gay friends aren't into the notion of changing it just to make it "Taboo".

Yeah my biggest compliant with it is the fact it seems forced and just to be edgy for the sake of being edgy.

Oh well, I'll wait and see how they do it before I make judgement.

Well I feel it's counter productive for the Gay Community. How is changing someone who IS straight to gay any different from those insane religious camps where they "Pray the Gay" out of people? It's essentially taking someone who is truly straight and making them gay for prophet.

One could argue, however, that since this is a different universe the molding table can be a bit more malleable. Like you said, we will just have to see how they handle it before a judgement is made.
