Morrison hasn't exactly been blowing the doors off with his work in the Nu52...
The last several issues haven't been that good, I agree. You can tell when Morrison's displeasure with DC began, as his work became more and more lackluster as a result.

Tbh, I stopped liking Action right around the time Supes donned 'the suit'. Before that I though it was very good.

Is his multiverse book still coming out?

2013.

Action Comics sucks. There I said it.

Sad state of affairs when Aquaman is indisputably the best comic DC puts out.

Right behind I Vampire, Shade, Batman Inc., Birds of Prey, among others.

Aquaman being one of the best books isn't a condemnation of the rest of DC, it's just one of the best books in either company in the past decade, I'd say.

Though, I'd definitely say it's too early to actually elevate it to that status. Given Johns' impending departure, it'll probably be forgotten and the potential left unfulfilled.

Yeah, Johns got me back in Aquaman and it's really good, but hardly the best. Def in my top 15 or so. Maybe top 10.

Supposedly, Lemire's mystery project is Aquaman, so I hope it's true. Lemire has been knocking out of the park with Justice League Dark, Animal Man, and Frankenstein.

Tbh I'm starting to lose interest in I, Vampire. If it doesn't pick up in the next few issues, I will probably stop reading.

Since Cain's death it has been stale, imo.

Yeah, some issues have been not up to par with the earlier ones, but it's still a solid book and one of the best books on the stand. I also forgot to mention Captain Atom as an honorable mention. Too bad that's gone.

DCnU Black adam will beat superman in a fight.

It's funny, because I only read 3 books in DC consistently, and in the next few months I'll probably be dropping all of them...

Action Comics- Morrison will be leaving soon, and when he does, I'll be leaving as well.
I, Vampire- It's been boring the past few months. Unless something big happens soon, I'll be dropping this.
Captain Atom- An excellent book. One that I don't want to stop reading... But it's cancelled... So I have to. 🙁

The only title you listed worth comparing, Batman, I lost a bit of patience with once they decided to reverse ninja effect Talon(s). Aquaman's focus on the Others has been far more interesting than the faceless (and, ultimately, personality-less) Court of Owls.

Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Stormwatch and Batman and Robin are the only titles really worth reading (in that order). And Wonder Woman took forever to gain momentum and reads far better in trade than in serial format.

Grifter, Voodoo, Teen Titans and Supergirl all started out good and sustained themselves for more than 6 issues and then went to sh1t.

Action Comics is worse than Justice League, which is about as bad as Justice League International except it has Jim Lee art. And popular artists like Lee on Justice League and Finch on Dark Knight don't save those books from sucking. Literally, the only reason I read Justice league is for Shazam. I don't even acknowledge Superman as a title anymore.

👆

Although I couldn't get past the horrible dialogue in Batman and Robin #1.

Others worth mentioning imo are

Captain Atom
Red Hood
Nightwing (getting stale)
JL Dark
Red Lanterns
Batwing (getting stale)
Demon Knights (one of the best)

Supergirl is still good. Superboy is the one that started out and fizzed in the end. Justice League Dark is the best team book, IMO.

Red Lanterns suck. 😛

^ Supergirl suddenly being taken in by Silver Banshee was so contrived my eyes haven't stopped rolling. They're somewhere between Kansas and Oz by now. I half agree on Red Lanterns though. It's interesting enough to be a backup feature to the two core GL titles. The concept itself can't sustain a monthly ongoing.

If you can get past Batman's hammy scenery chewing in the first issue (which is just anachronistic Frank Miller creeping in), then you get priceless scenes like this:

I actually liked that version of sulver banshee. Last batman and robin arc wasnt very good.

Aww ****.

Now I'm worried.
