DCU gets remade - all books are #1s, Geoff Johns and Jim Lee on Justice League, more

GLC 0 was okay. It's Guy Gardner written by Tomasi, so it's always readable. Pasarin's art isn't something I'm a huge fan of, but it doesn't hurt the comic too much.

Batgirl 0 was good I thought; imone was on form for the most part. I liked her insight in to why Gordon chose not to talk about Batman much, though not sure I liked Batgirl's redesigned costume. Was really nice to see Benes back on form too; the man runs a school now and doesn't seem to be able to keep a deadline, but it was good to see him show the quality he'd shown on Superman and JLA. Here's hoping he keeps it up in the regular series. The lack of ass shots was noticeable though, lol.

Why Greg Rucka left DC- DC pulled WW Earth One out from under him

Nooo, that would've been awesome!

Greg Rucka's a valuable writer so I don't like that they yanked his project out from under him.

Bleh on Batgirl overall. I hope Gail gets on Secret Six STAT!

Ouch, that sucks. Rucka is one of the few Diana writers I think really gets the character.

I prefer Batgirl to Secret Six tbh. That, and Benes is always better with Simone alongside him.

Yea.

We haven't even seen the WW Earth 1 for whoever else was supposed to do it (rumored Morrison) to boot, though however it is I can't see it being worth losing Rucka as a writer.

If its Morrison's project he'd been talking about, then maybe it'll be good enough.

From what I've heard Morrison sucks at writing Wonder Woman.

Just a few comments I've read. I think Linkara has moaned about him a few times as well. Plus he's been talking about bringing her back to her fetishistic roots, which doesn't sound too appealing. That may have been how she started out but she's evolved over the years.

It is true that she didn't have that big of a role in his JLA run and he even used Hippolyta when possible.

It's not that it was bad, but he didn't seem to know what to do with her and iirc has commented as such.

That really sucks for Rucka. He comes into my store all the time and he's such a good dude, he didn't deserve that 😬
