* i've been waiting for this, a very long time... thanks DC! 🙂
^ Yeah, he would make more sense... Just thought Pandora being responsible for the whole Earth 2 ordeal would be a cool twist /shrug. Anyway, the issue itself was terrible.
On another note, Phantom Stranger #0 gave an excellent backstory on PS and Spectre-- it backed up the FCBD issue very well. Definitely recommend.
I don't like Spectre being tied to Phantom Stranger, to be honest. I'd have liked the origin to be more -- independent, I guess?
Also, I found it oddly executed, Corrigan dies and he's suddenly the Spectre (wait, what happened to the Spectre being an angel who 'merged' with Corrigan?) and he's like "This isn't shocking to me at all, I'm instantly familiar with what I am and I will attack you"
It's good as far as Phantom Stranger is concerned - but stupid and confusing for Spectre's character.
Was Damian artificially aged in an incubator? Detective issue 0 shows that Bruce returned to Gotham seven years ago, and Batman Inc showed that Bruce was already Batman during the events of Son of the Demon... so the oldest Damian could possibly be without some interference is six... and that is if Bruce went out immediately after he returned home and banged Talia.
Also bearded Batman 😍
They (by my understanding) are origin issues since the DCnU hasn't had any. Hard to tell if any of the origins have changed or not. Though in red hood and the outlaws we are going to find out how Jason came back to life. Im expecting a change in DC continuity and make it the way he came back in the movie.
AC #0 was okay (better than the last few issues have been, at least.) Nice to see a more fallible Clark in the tee shirt, blue jeans, and work boots again. Didn't really see a need for the issue itself, though. Clark's backstory was (and still is) nothing new-- and the kids stealing his cape seemed like it was just there to fill a few pages.
