Why are you so upset? The feat itself is idiotic (even Pr said as much.) Get over it. 👆
😂

Keep sinking, Galan. Maybe one day you'll want a breath of air.

You're, like, seriously mad that everyone doesn't feel the need to jerk off to this feat with you, to the point that you're flaming/bashing at anyone who has a different opinion... But I'm "sinking"? Lulz.

Anyway, I think the feat itself is laughably stupid. You think it's boner-inducing. We have different opinions. So what? Should I make fun of you for disagreeing with me?

You can not like the feat, sure. [you at least got around to admiting you simply don't want Superman that strong, which is great, for transparency's sake]

But saying that it only leads to inconsistency (which has been there for Superman for his entire existency, and it's been happening in comics for virtually every character) and calling it childish and ridiculous (while in other threads, furiously touching yourself on feats of similar magnitude), then we have a problem. So it's not your opinion. It's your double standard, hypocritical fanboysh demeaning of the feat, by saying that it's for "children" and ruins DC for you.

It's a child-tantrum, and overreaction because "his dad could beat your dad".

It's comics. Understand how they work. Go with the flow, and don't be so overdramatic.

Also, wth @ your sig.

I took "ridiculous in it's absurdity" as idiotic. My bad if you didn't mean it that way.

That's our lord and savior JC. You have a problem with religion? sneer

I meant more about how crazy it is. I still like the feat, as it's something I've been waiting for them to show, tbh.

lol no, i can just see people freaking out at it.

Jesus, why does my opinion upset you so much? Is it because in your initial post you literally said the feat was so cool that you wanted to fap to it-- then I posted and said how stupid I thought it was? It's really not that big of a deal. :/

As for your deflection: where cheese-factor is concerned, I don't know of a single feat that is remotely comparable to this instance. Therefore, I've never "furiously touched myself to feats of similar magnitude." I have, however, mentioned feats that MANY heralds have preformed. No herald has ever preformed a feat like this, though, so I don't know where this part of your bashy tangent came from.

Look back at your responses to myself and Digi... Then tell me who is throwing a "childish tantrum." Irony, much?

Again: I believe the feat is cheesy. Your incessant flames/bashes won't change that. Get over it. 👆

Cool. I don't have a problem with people liking it (Phil is taking it, like, way personally) I just think it's cheesy, myself.

Yeah, I wore it a few years ago, and was asked by another member to change it, so I did. I like the sig itself, though.

Supes is a feat making machine. I've pointed out time and again that Supes does more in the average year or two in terms of impressive feats than 99% of heros do in their career.

What does 'a feat like this' mean, actually? A strength feat of this magnitude? No, they haven't, except maybe Hulk under Pak in his ultimate WBH form approaching this level. That's why it's so impressive. Impressiveness/magnitude =/= ridiculous, though. They're not the same thing. But the fact that you hate it being so impressive makes you call it childish, character-wrecking and badmouthing DC. And that is childish. There's literally nothing stupid about this except the fact that you don't think that Superman should be this strong.

If you want to talk 'science ridiculousness'..

This is one of the few pseudo-scientific plausible feats, since there is actual scientific equipment used to test him. He's not pushing his hands against the Earth and moving it. He's not dragging it by a chain. You want to talk scientific ridiculousness? How going through blackholes? How about splitting planets in half with an axe? How about bullrushing planets apart? How about taking supernovas? How about going into suns?

I can present hard numbers to prove my point, if you want. But we both know what those imply, and they're much more ridiculous. Those feats are childish, ridiculous and stupid because they're actually logically implausible having no inner pseudo-scientific support or consistency to them. This one, like in All-star, didn't go for the "pretty lights" and tried to have internal logic - sci-fi logic, but still technology being used in order to argue its achievement.

The bottom line is: you don't want Superman to be this strong. You even said it. You hate that he was powerful enough to do this feat - this isn't about scientific implausability. And I hope you won't go back to inconsistency, because I've already been throughougly clear about the comic medium and that subject, I believe. You simply hate him being this powerful.

And I get that. I can respect that. I can ignore that because, ultimately, it's not your feelings on the matter that count, it's the actual comics. But liking others, eventough they're at least as ridiculous, is hypocritical. And least with butthurt, it only says something about your fanboysm, hypocrisy and double standards say something about your e-character, at least.

Two full pages are enough. You can continue not liking this feat, and I will continue not caring, as long as your double-standards don't hit me in the face.

Have a good day.

*walks in*

*walks right out*

*continues working on Hulk respect thread*

Weren't you supposed to be making a Guy the Great respect thread?

Why would this feat lead to a larger level of inconsistency than before? Even before the reboot, he could still move at least half of the Earth - thus even mountains should be feathers to him. Anyone not being planetary-level shouldn't have even bothered him.

Yet it did. Again, and again, and again.

And that's not exclusive to Superman. I could go on about Hulk. Silver Surfer. Thor. Hell, all of Galactus' heralds - they pull cosmic feats consistently. Whipping boy Terrax splits planets in half.

Do they always operate on that level? No. Of course not. Because that's the way the comic universe works.

Do you read comics?

Just because you "don't like him" doesn't change the fact that he has sustained on-going series, for decades.

Doesn't change that he was holding a planet integral by physically pulling it together in what was one of the most lauded storylines of the past decades for him.
Doesn't change the fact that he was capable of destroying Earth with footsteps in the cash-machine of an event that was WWH, after stomping the combined Earth resources.

What I'm saying here: Your opinion doesn't count and only facts do the talking.

You may be butthurt. You may simply not understand how comics work. You may purposely choose ignorance.

I do not care.

But do not act like this ruins Superman. Do not act like this is the stupidest feat in comics. Do not act like this would lead to inconsistency regarding Superman -> Superman has been portrayed inconsistently for the better part of his existence; be it Silver Age. Be it Bronze Age. Be it the pre-Flashpoint Universe. Do not act like inconsistency is exclusive to Superman, when it's not. Do not act like the whole comic medium isn't inconsistent, when it is.

Do not act ignorant of the medium. Do not act hypocritical. Keep the butthurt to yourself.

Take my advice. 👆

It is not the stupidest but it is dumb. You seem hurt because people arent creaming themselves over the image. Actually you seem more butthurt than the people you claim have their panties in a bunch. And this really has to do with a general trend in superman comics. Superman tends to be one of the characters comic writers tend to write into the corner a lot. This image just seems to follow that same trend which is what many are hoping doesnt happen.

Yes, the feat is utterly ridiculous... But then the whole point of Superman is doing the ridiculous so I don't see the problem with this.

I'm not sure if you're legitimately only at the level where that's the only thing you got from this discussion, or you're just trolling me.

😂 Oh.My.God.

😂 Your hate-fueled rant is hysterical... Almost sad. Reminds me of this kid:
Wrxk79jxagU&feature=fvst
LEAVE BRITNEY SUPERMAN ALONE!!!!

😂 I think a particular feat is cheesy. I say my dislike has nothing to do with who preformed the feat, it has to do with the feat itself. You revert back to me being "butthurt" and "hating Superman". The phuck?

😂 Then you have the gall to say that I'm "sinking", and "throwing a childish tantrum." Holy.Crap.

😂 I think we all just watched you have a complete mental breakdown. I'm definitely profiling this gold! 👆

😐

Well, at least I nailed you with the "my dad beats your dad" mindset.

What the crap, photobucket just went down.

They rebooted Guy Gardner too much. I collected his appearances, had a mess of scans, and I couldn't figure out how to structure it properly. Spent too many hours trying to figure out something workable. Someone else can do it, but the way I like to style my respect threads, the multiple retcons just made it untenable for my style.

dude you went practically foaming with "Gah! Why you so upset about superman, other characters do this all time. Don't single superman out. Raaaahhh , raaaahh , rage, raaah! "
