If this is true, that's really bad. They're losing money on this (nothing to do with sales- the fancy covers means they're at a loss), and bad fan reaction on top?

They have *got* to put more planning into events. Like, just look at the awesomeness of 52 and OYL! Do that again!

Btw, there is one that looked good to me- The Riddler one.

He uses riddles. He desires a challenge. He's a bit bloody, but doesn't even hurt randomly, and he doesn't kill during it.

When there's a tendency to just up the body count, it's surprising to see a solid take on Riddler like this.

Supposedly the sales are good for villains month.

The Riddler one was ok. I liked the Eclipso and Shadow Thief ones this week.

In lieu of the shittiness of this event as a whole, I'm still looking forward to quite a few issues next week:
Doomsday
Bane
Joker's Daughter
Sinestro
First Born
Secret Society
Black Adam

What the writers and editors over at DC haven't figured out yet is that not every character needs a new take or origin. Some were great all on their own, and could/should have been kept exactly the same.

For example, Doomsday already has a great origin IMO, albeit one that's already been tampered with too much pre-Flashpoint (Doomsday's appearances should have ended at H/P). His reboot is going to butcher him even further, I guarantee it.

Sinestro has a great story, and given the lack of changes to the GL storyline I'm praying they don't phuck with it.

You don't really need to read these issues to enjoy the main event, Forever Evil. So far at least that has been good. Can't wait until this is over so we can continue the regular storylines (Green Arrow, Swamp Thing, JLD, etc...)

New Pandora artist spoil pages.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. It's not about reading or not, though it's been a while since I've read anything.

The villain issues should have tied-into the main event itself. That would have made a LOT more sense than releasing 50+ origin issues in a single month.

Agreed. Some of the villain issues have been tied to Forever Evil. Like Black Manta, Cheetah, Rogue's, etc...

You didn't read Trinity War? It was pretty awesome. DC still has some good titles like the GL line, Arrow, Dial H, etc...

Right, I just think that all of the issues should have tied-into the event... Show us what each villain is up to now that they've inherited the earth.

As a whole, TW was really good. 👆

I thought Dial H was cancelled..?

Wasn't referring to the regular titles, although they killed too many of my favorites...

RIP
Demon Knights
Sword of Sorcery
Captain Atom

H is canceled, I think it has just a few issues left.

Grifter and OMAC too. 🙁

Sword of Sorcery is already cancelled? Damn, that was fast 😐

7 issues.

Considering it was the entirety of their 'female creator/character wave,' I feel, even though I didn't like their take, they didn't give much trust to it.

The biggest RIP is I, Vampire. That series was excellent.

Usually when series gets cancelled is because of low sales. Some of Marvel NOW titles are getting the axe as well, because of low sales. Unfortunately, something like Amythest isn't going to sell. She isn't Superman, Batman, or Spider-Man.

Thus, the cancellation.

With that logic we should just publish Spider-man, Batman and Superman books...
