My doubts stem from Gods of companies being rarely seen. I doubt this will be an exception.

I'm thinking it's either The Voice, or a nice throwback to Michael

If it is God though, it'd be really interesting. Hopefully it's a full comic of discussion about Heaven/God/Angels if that's the case. Even if it isn't God, hopefully the same thing.

God has appeared several times in the DCnU so far and had many-a-chats with PS. He always appears as a dog. Not joking.

We've always assumed it was God, but I don't think it was ever explicitly said who the dog is, unless I'm mistaken. Could be The Voice, or something else representing God.

I mean in his full glory.
I highly doubt he'd take a dog form in Heaven.

But that remains to be seen.

Unless he actually is a dog...

I think it was said the dog was The Voice. I'll have to look it up, or maybe one of you guys can. He is just using the dog to speak through it. I'm guessing The Presence is still on the Throne or should be. That would be sweet if they did use Michael and that was him.

True, I don't think it has been explicitly stated. Although we know it created Spectre and Phantom Stranger, we know Spectre is the mirror of his(the dog's) desire for justice, we know it represents The Voice at the very least, we know it has the power to resurrect beings from non-existence, we know it is the 'knower of all things', etc.

The implication that it is God has definitely been there... But it'd be phucking awesome if it ended up being Mike.

Aquaman gets a second ongoing.

But by Jurgens?

I like Medina's art, though.

JL 3000 was shit.
JLA, Superman/WW, and Rogues Rebellion were boring as all get-out.
DCU vs. MotU was enjoyable.
Constantine was excellent. Bow howdy is that fella powerful.

Constantine is ridiculous

I was right in one of my guesses though. It was the Voice, but holy shit did I not expect him to be dog form there. 😂
God must be a Great Dane or a majestic boxer.

Also, hopefully Zauriel just trashes the Blight. I expect him to depower himself though eventually and take mortal form so he can fit on a team.

Yeah, he's always appeared as a dog in the DCnU for whatever reason. I always pictured God himself as a glorious Collie, though... Not unlike Lassie. Different strokes, I guess.

It's hard to imagine DC not depowering a guy who can oblivionize upper-echelon beings just by pointing his sword at them. Maybe Zauriel will just be less powerful in the material world than he was in Heaven for whatever reason..? Because in Heaven he was retardedly powerful.

Well, something about a dog being in Heaven...

He walked out of Constantine's circle like nothing.
Maybe he'll gradually depower or something. Because he almost has to be depowered to be believable. I suspect he either gets depowered or he goes right back up to Heaven

Yeah, it affected him initially but then he strolled out of it. I doubt he'll go back up to Heaven before fighting Blight, though, because it was more or less stated that God wanted him to fight with Constantine.

But if he isn't depowered and Blight still beats him, it'll put Blight in a completely different league.

I mean he'll either go back to Heaven or get depowered after the Blight fight.

Blight probably will. Though it'd be interesting if he just steamrolled Blight.

My predictions are that they beat Blight. Something happens in the fight that makes Zauriel respect the dooders. He goes to Heaven and pleads with Dog to allow him to stay with them and fight for justice and shit. Something about he'll need to be mortal form. And bam. Zauriel is back on a team.

I agree. Though I really just want the JLD to return back to its normal roster after the Blight stuff is wrapped up. They were uber as hell before... Now they're just asininely haxxed.

I'd say the potential for Zauriel to do very well against Blight is certainly there, given what John and PS have done to it solo.

Yeah, I *hope* he just goes back to Heaven.

Hell, yeah! Now Zauriel's apart of the team. Now, we only need Etrigan. 🙂

😂

I think a part of Grant Morrison's soul died.

The way Zauriel joined the team was a little...stupidly easy.

In heaven he's all like "you can't do this and that" and then he ends up in the mortal world and suddenly he's all "oh, well since I'm here already..."

Wow, he really laid in to him at times. Sad, as I feel he had some good points at times in his article.

Is that Adam Strange?

Yes.

The full roster:

The roster of the new Justice League team will be a collection of some of my favourite DC characters: ANIMAL MAN, GREEN ARROW, STARGIRL, MARTIAN MANHUNTER, ADAM STRANGE, SUPERGIRL, ALANNA STRANGE and HAWKMAN. The JLU's headquarters will be set in Moosonee, Ontario and their missions will juxtapose adventures firmly set in rural Canada with more cosmic, planet-hopping high adventure around the galaxy.

Plus the new Canadian female.
